NARRATOR POV XD

It had been two months since the two young boys had started dating and things had been going amazingly. Xingqiu had been introduced to Chongyun's parents as his boyfriend, and they loved him immediately.  Chongyun was already out to his parents which made everything a lot easier. They still hadn't met Xingqius parents. But Chongyun didn't want to push his beautiful boyfriend to do anything.

XINGQIU POV

XianglingRamsay: XINGQIU r u srs? Chongyun, Aether and like the popular guys invited u to hang out with them?!

MyLeige: yeah...

I throw my phone on my bed and went to the walk-in wardrobe to pick out an outfit for the day. There was a beachy oversized t-shirt that matched perfectly with my boardshorts. I pull a cap down over my hair, before deciding it made me look ugly and throwing it on the bed with a sigh. When I'm finally ready, I run downstairs to the driver waiting outside. "To the beach, my liege!" I say, excitedly.

When I arrive, aether and Lumine are already there. Lumine is making out with Childe. I hop out of the vehicle and wave bye to the driver. I look around for Chongyun, who is no where to be seen. Aether turns around, seeing me. "Xingqiu! Don't worry Chongyun's really slow! Come over here, chips?" He gushes holding out a bag of crisps. I'm very surprised. My friends and I had always thought of them as elite and cold, but really, they are like us!! I reach my hand in and pull out a handful. "Thanks!!" I throw them in my mouth, just as my boyfriend jumps out of a car. "Chongyun!!" I shout. I don't even bother to wipe the crumbs from my lap as I run to him. He grins at me, bashful. "Xing... we saw each other last week! You can't been THAT bored..." I groan kissing him on the mouth.  "You have a sister.. being an only child sucks" (I kid u the fuck not child autocorrected to childe 😯☝️😐✊️) 

CHONGYUN POV

Everyone was exhausted as they waited for their ways of getting home arrived. Chongyun was hitching a ride with Xingqiu, so they could make out in the car. As they pulled up in Xingqius garage, he looks at Chongyun. "Hey, baby, how do you think about meeting my parents?" Chongyun tturns red. "X-Xingqiu!! I would love love love that!" Xingqiu smiles and tells the driver the situation. He nods and lets both of the boys out. "Hey yunyun? C-can we just pretend we're best friends? Please?" Chongyun sighs and nods, happy to make his boyfriend happy.

"Ahhh hello Xingqiu!" A nice woman said as she noticed us come in the kitchen. "Whos this friend of yours?" She nods in my direction. "Hi Lynn!" He says. It must be his mum, but That name... it doesn't sound local. "This is my b-bestfriend! Do you know where mother and father are?" Wait. What? She isn't his mother? Who is she? "Your mother... she's in the lounge, your father, the study." Xingqiu thanks her politely and drags me up the stairs of his huge house. "Hey, Xing? Who was that lady? She's not your mother, is she?" Xingqiu turns red. "Uhm well, that's the maid... she's really nice." I gape at him. "Whatttt? You guys have a maid!" He nods his head and we stop in front of a fancy door. A finger goes over his lips, motioning for me to be quiet. Taking a deep breath, he opens the door. "Hi mu- Good Evening! Th-this is my friend, Chongyun! Do you mind if he stays for dinner?" A woman is sitting on a couch. She is very beautiful, with  straight black hair and neat nails. Her face has neat make-up, just covering up all blemishes. She looks me up and down. "Hmmm I suppose. Your father is busy, so he won't be joining us. Well, see you at dinner" Xingqiu leads me to his bedroom, which is the same size as my sister and my bedroom combined. He walks over to his closet, which is the same size as bedroom. "Go lie on the bed, I'll be out in a minute." I have to admit, his bed looked very comfortable. I lay down and slipped into a haze...

XINGQIU POV

I finished the mountain noodles, a delicacy from Qingce Village. "Thank you Lynn, that was delicious." The maids smile shone with happiness as she looked Up at me from the counter. "Oh Sh-shoot. Xingqiu, Mrs Guhua, I am so, so sorry but I promised my mum I'd be home at 10. I hope I agent overstayed my welcome."he bowed to her p, just as my father entered the kitchen. "And who is this?" He raises a thin eyebrow at Chongyun. "This is my best friend! His name is Chongyun!" My father angles his glasses down his nose. "You're leaving now, correct?" He says to him. Chongyun nods his shaggy blue head. "Hmph. I suppose I'll see you here soon. Goodbye."

"M-mother? Father? I-I need to talk to you." The line was slightly crackly but it didn't matter, as long as I kept this phone call quiet and quick. Chongyun could not hear any of this. "Th-that boy I had over a few nights ago? Chongyun... well, we are more than just friends. W-we are dating." It felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders, although the tension was so tight I could have tapped it with my sword and it could have broken. "I-I'm disappointed. Xingqiu, you have done barely anything for the company, and I've let you choose which school to go to, I've been relaxed about your grades, but now you are dating someone? And he's a boy? You see, maybe if you had done something for Feiyun I would let you date him. Maybe."
