Taehyung doesn't really know how to prepare himself for going down to Earth. Hoseok tells him some of the basics but he'll just have to wing it when he gets there, there's no time for extensive lectures on how to be a human -all Taehyung needs to focus on is surviving the week living by Heaven's rules and then he will be all ready to move on to where he has always wanted to be and what he has worked so hard towards.

"It's going to be really quick. You're literally here and the next second you'll be there. I'm not sure exactly where you will be but it will be in your apartment. I can't tell if your husband is going to be there or not." Hoseok's question ends with a rising tone, wanting to catch Taehyung's drifting attention, wordlessly asking if Taehyung is ok, if he's comfortable with what's happening. Does he understand what's going happen, Hoseok wonders because he fully understands the implications of Taehyung failing and he worries that the Angel does not.

Taehyung nods, face etched with fear.

"Hey, don't worry kid, you'll be ok. Promise. Just don't stress out too much, play it by ear and take it easy, OK? I'll bring you back in exactly seven days. Don't do anything I wouldn't do!!" he says with a wink....

Hoseok is right of course -it's hardly even half a blink and Taehyung is on Earth.

His very first sensation is weight. His body feels heavy, it weighs down onto his feet, the flats of them pressing firmly against the floor. The sensation of solidity after having been a weightless, almost edgeless being for hundreds of years is bizarre to say the least. Taehyung almost stumbles, not used to standing on his own two feet.

He looks down at his hands -with long, slender fingers- and at his long legs... is this what he would really look like had he been created human? Taehyung wonders. He combs through his hair which is quite long, wavy, dark. It feels very soft and silky and it holds Taehyung's attention for a long moment. He can't figure out why it feels so different -it's not like he didn't have hair in Heaven.

To ease the transition down to Earth, Taehyung has only worn a flimsy white top, almost see-through and long enough to reach just half way down his thighs. Entranced by the feel of it moving over his skin, Taehyung slides his fingers to feel the fabric half hanging off his shoulder.

Both the sensations of the fabric against his fingers and the gentle slide of his fingers pressing against his skin are... strange.

Taehyung already realises that there is no way he would have been able to imagine what it's like to be human -perhaps somewhat begrudgingly accepting that there is, indeed, a valid reason for him to be here.

The almost iridescent, silken fabric feels smoother than skin, colder. When his fingers slip over the edge of the fabric and back onto the hot skin, never having felt heat or cold in this way before, Taehyung wonders about his skin, is it always this warm and soft?

His curious fingers carry on over his collar bone, up his throat to his cheek, over his lips....

Something very strange happens when Taehyung caresses the silk of his lips - cold waves of tingle tickle along his limbs, gently curling his toes into the thick carpet. This is only exacerbated by the cool breeze from the open window which kisses the nape of his neck. Taehyung's body reverberates softly, releasing an almost silent gasp.

When the soft caress over Taehyung's lips sends his tongue out to lick at the sensation, another surprise bombards Taehyung's senses. He is amazed by his own taste, the subtle flavour of salt on his skin -something so new he doesn't know what to make of it. Fascinated by the soft, warm texture of his arm, he runs his nose along it and breathes in, surprised at his own angelic, almost sweet scent. It's unexpected that it's still there, even in his fake, human form.
