"The Girl's" POV
She looked around the room, taking it all in.
Then Arabella asked her a question. She hadn't been listening, so she asked her to repeat it.
"What's your name?" Arabella asked again.
She thought.
What was her name?
Woah. That was scary. She couldn't remember her name.
She frowned. "I know I'm from Earth, but... I don't know my name!" Her heart rate sped up. "I don't know where I am, I don't know what I'm doing here, and I don't know how to get home!" She started to cry. Huge gulping, gasping, snotty tears.
Arabella rushed forward and knelt down. She patted her back, and said "It's going to be okay."
She looked up. "But who will help me? I don't know where to go! I don't know what to do!" Arabella was silent. Not a stunned silence, she realized, but more of a thinking silence, if you know what I mean.
Arabella stood, and then offered a hand. "I have an idea." She looked at Arabella questioningly, but accepted her hand up. Arabella led her outside. "Wait here. Then I'll tell you my idea." She said, and then turned and ran off. Then she came back a few minutes later, this time sporting a cornflower blue cart with a mind of its own, a colorful personality, and a lot to say.
"Get on in! We have a lot to talk about and do!" Arabella yelled. She got in and sat next to her on a navy blue cushion. "So..." she started. "So, first things first, you need a name. I was thinking, and came up with Sandy. You're have sort of sand-colored hair, and if you don't like it, we can come up with another. Also, it's an Earth-style name! It's a name that sounds like it belongs to a popular girl, like from the movies." Arabella leaned closer. "I hear they have beaches there."
The girl thought. "I like the name."
Arabella smiled. "I thought you would. Let's go!"
