Chapter 8

When mom and I got home I helped wash the dishes and tidy up the dining room. After we finished I went to my room and checked my phone. Four new messages.

Kyle: heyy Izzy.
Kyle: I got a question
Kyle: you busy tomorrow?
Kyle: because I wanna go play with the Ouija board again. And maybe ballroom dance in the cemetery..

Just as I started to type out my message I got another text from Kyle.
I looked at it and it was a winky face. I started typing again. My text said: Hey, sorry I didn't answer faster I was cleaning up our supper mess. I don't think I'm doing anything tomorrow so I'll see you then.. Oh by the way I'd love to dance in the cemetery again.

I  hit send and lyed down on my bed pushing a hand under my pillow.

I felt something different. I grasped it and pulled my hand out, only to find that Kyle stuck his beanie under my pillow. I thought he forgot something. His beanie is a dark purple and its got the neff symbol on the side.

I got up and put it on my dresser. While I was there I decided to pick and outfit for tomorrow. I pulled out a pair of black ripped jeans and a band T-shirt. I looked at it at realized that it had the falling in reverse lip logo on it. I smiled and grabbed my white and black checkered belt from my closet. When I finished getting tomorrows outfit and satisfied with what I chose, I lyed back down. I had another text.

Kyle: hey doll, umm just wondering if you could get some money from your mom. Maybe just maybe we could get some Monsters.

This is what I said.: Yeah I could probably get some money. I hope you know you left your beanie here..

After a couple minutes I got a reply.

Kyle:  yeah I know I did.. Actually I intended to. Anyway night babe I'll see you tomorrow.

Me: okay good night.

I plugged my phone in and went to the bathroom to clean my face and brush my teeth. I walked back to my room, turned off my light and went to sleep.

I woke up at 6:13 and got in the shower. I made the water Luke warm and got in. I washed my hair then my body and just stood there letting g the sound and feel of the water relax me. I turned the water off after about 15 minutes and got out. I grabbed my towel and dried off, then waddled to my room and got dressed.

Fully clothed, I walked to the bathroom room again and blow dried my hair. When I was done I brushed my teeth and grabbed my hairspray so I could fix my hair. I fixed my bangs, my layers, my tips, and fluffed it. I walked to my moms room and asked her for a 20. She went in her purse, pull one out and gave it to me no questions asked. I said thanks and went to the landing, slipping on my black vans. Shit. I thought. I walked back upstairs grabbed my phone and Kyles beanie then left. I texted mom where I was going she just said okay and have fun.so I walked to our normal meet up place. The cemetery.
