Chapter 20

I woke up next to Kyle with a pounding headache, as I remembered what had happened. My night was pretty fun. I smiled at my memory of the night. I took a Tylenol and woke up Kyle. I checked my phone. It's 10:28 am breakfast is on now. I took a few minutes on my hair and makeup, then quickly got dressed. Kyle slowly stumbled to the bathroom yawning and stretching. I giggled and went downstairs.

When I reached the dining room Evan and Jacob were at the table. They smirked at me as I shaded my eyes and held my head from the pain of the headache.

"Had fun last night?" Evan perked up and asked. I just nodded. "We heard you," Jacob started. "Prove it." I said. "Oh harder! Mm ohh Kyle!!" He mocked. I felt my cheeks burn from embarrassment. A pair of familiar arms wrapped around my waist and turned around to press my lips to Kyle's. I slowly pulled away from his lips and pulled him to a chair.

After breakfast we went upstairs and just slept. By the time we woke up it was around three. I looked over to where the Ouija board was. No! You can't play by yourself.. But maybe.. NO! I can't. But I want to.. I argued with myself for about a half hour before my phone went off.

Alex: Hey wanna hang out with me today? You haven't been at school lately whats up?

I responded with a quick "sure" and "let me tell you in person." I got a smiley face back and set my phone down. I redid my hair and fixed my clothes. Kyle walked in the bathroom as I turned around. "Where you going Kitten?" He tiredly asked. "Alex want to hang out with me so.." I trailed off. "Oh, okay baby. Text me if you need anything." I nodded and smiled "I hope you girls have fun!" He yelled as I walked out of the apartment.

I texted her.

Me: wanna meet up at Tims and get a ice capp?
Alex: sure.. I'll buy.

Before I could say no she sent me another text.

Alex: don't even think about saying no. I'm a stubborn bitch and won't let you buy anything for me. You should know this.

I signed and typed "fine.. I'll see you there..". I shoved my phone in my ass pocket and kept walking.

Alex and I have been friends for a while now and she finally came out of the closet and told me she was Bi and had a crush on me. She's always acted a little different around me than others. I guess I kinda had a clue. She started saying "good thoughts" and "bad thoughts" to vaguely explain what she was thinking. She was my emo bestfriend. When I got to Tims I saw her standing about 20 feet from the door having a smoke. I shook my head a little and kinda skipped and ran to her. When I got close she threw her cigarette and huged me the way she always has. It lasted about 3 minutes before she let me go. I smiled at her and grabbed her hand. We walked into Tims, ordered our ice capps, and found a table.

"Okay, there's something wrong with this picture. We're here, we have our drinks, but I'm still in the dark. Start talking." Alex said, patiently waiting for me to spill all my new news.

"Okay so... Kyle and I are together. We walked to the grave yard and he proposed to me!" I quietly but, excitedly informed her. She smiled big and I knew she was truly happy for me.

"Anything else?" Alex probed. "Uhm.. Yes actually. We have our own place and we've been there for 3-4 days now. Oh! And I lost my virginity.." I said and blushed. She had lost hers in public school and everybody found out about it. I felt bad for her when she told me but, now she looks back and laughs.

She smiled at me "I'm really happy for you." I smiled at her. She grabbed her drink and dragged me outside. She lit another cigarette and we walked to her Dad's house. When we got there she pulled in the building. "Hey Dad!" She yelled. "Hi Daddy!" I yelled after her and we walked downstairs. We sat on her couch and talked for a bit and she huged me again. This hug was different. This one was tighter. She didn't let go but, she pulled back and pressed her forehead to mine. "I love you." She said quietly. "I love you too." I replied. Slowly our noses touched. Quietly she mumbled "really good thoughts." Then our lips slowly connected. I blushed hard and kissed her back, tightening my grip on her. We stayed that way for about 2 minutes then she pulled back slowly.

Quickly her hood came up over her head and she hid almost all her face. I pulled her hood off and saw her bright red cheeks. That's the first time I ever saw her blush. We sat down on the cracked and worn black leather couch and talked for a little longer before we kissed again. I laughed as we pulled apart the second time. She bit her bottom lip and slowly walked to the other side of her basement. I watched as she rummaged through something. She came back with something in either hand. "Uhm? What do you have?" I asked. "Things I don't need anymore!" She smiled and opened her hands revealing two pocket knives. "Yaay!" I shouted and smiled big.

After hanging out with Alex for a few hours I walked back to my place to find Kyle sprawled out on the bed naked. "Oh.. Uh.. Hi." I said. He blushed hard and covered himself. "I got too hot babe." He said. I sighed and giggled. "Your a dork you know that?" He nodded. "Yeah.. But I'm your dork." I went to the dresser and grabbed a pair of his batman boxers and threw them at him. He put them on and we cuddled the rest of the night.
