I sat there in silence as she said those words. I felt a pain in my chest. Was it jealousy? I don't know. I shook my head and Kyle did the same. Jacob eyed his girlfriend and slowly shook his head. "Why not?!" She complained. "We don't know each other. Maybe another time. Okay?" Kyle said softly. I shivered at his words.
"What about that fine board over there? Wanna try that first?" Jacob asked. I looked at Kyle and nodded as he did the same. Kyle got up, grabbed the Ouija board and planchette then sat back down. I smiled and pressed my lips to his. He smiled and pulled back. "I love you." He said. His voice is deep, raspy and full of passion. I shiver at the sound of it every time he speaks. "I love you too." I replied happily.
"Do you two know how to use this?" I questioned. They nodded and we placed our fingers on the planchette and moved it around the board 4 times, once for each person.
"As friends we gather, hearts are true, spirits near we call to you." We all said in unison. Jacob asked the first question.
"Who are you?" The planchette moved to the L and I knew exactly who it was.
Lui.
"I know who this is," Kyle started quietly. "H- it wants the first born boy of my family. It can't be me because I was adopted." He whispered. "Do you still want my brother?" Kyle asked. The planchette moved to yes. My heart sank. I knew he wasn't blood related to him but, he still cared. They were his family. I shook my head. "I'm done." I said. They all nodded and we said goodbye. I don't like using that Ouija board at all.
