Amelia's POV
I don't understand.
1. Why would he do that? Andrew was clearly bigger and stronger than him, why would he fight him.
2. Why would he defend me like that? He's not my boyfriend or anything so why did it matter to him so much?
3. Why do I care so much? We only just met, it's not like we're best friends or dating or anything. We barely know each other and now I'm sitting with him in an ambulance crying next to him.
Oh god. I think maybe I like him. I mean he's handsome, funny, strong, talented, independent, loving, he's everything anyone could want from a boy. Yes. I admit it. I like him.
He didn't move the whole journey. Just lay there, still, motionless. It broke my heart to see him in this position. It should be me lying there injured not him. I couldn't help but think about how this could be different. If I never ran away from the party, if I never met Charlie, he wouldn't be here. It's all my fault.
"No it's not your fault" I looked up to see Charlie was actually talking to me.
"Charlie!?" I screeched with excitement as I saw him open his hooded eyelids.
"I like you too"
"Wait, what?" I questioned him.
"You do know you said all that out loud don't you" he told me weakly, clearly in pain.
"Oh right... Sorry" I said, very embarrassed but it was clear to me how much pain he was in.
After what felt like a never ending journey, we arrived at the hospital. Although he was conscious again, he was still in severe pain. I went through and sat in the waiting room for the nurse to come through to tell me it was okay to go see him.

Hey, I don't really know. He gained conscious in the ambulance but he's still in a lot of pain and got several severe injuries so they're checking on him now. From Amelia xx
"Amelia, You can go see him now." I looked up to see a tall brown haired nurse blinking at me.
