Dr. Teeth buying Lips something unrequested because it made Dr. Teeth think of them.
"Uh, Doc? What's this?" Lips asks, holding up a small trumpet statue carved from wood. The base had the words, "What we play is life", a quote from Louis Armstrong. Dr. Teeth gives his partner a small grin. The entire Electric Mayhem decided to look around their local flea market today, each going their separate ways. It was currently lunch time and they were looking through the few items they bought.
"I figured that my fluffy-haired lover would enjoy this acoustic looking item," he explains, drumming his fingers on the table. It wasn't rare to find the Good Doctor purchasing items for his loved ones, especially for Lips. Though, he may need to tone it down a notch after this one.
"Gee, Doc. Thanks!"
"No problem, Lips ol'-buddy". Dr. Teeth's gaze never seemed to stray from Lips. Ignoring Animal's obnoxious eating, he leans over and pecks his cheek.
"Wow, this is nice. Hey, they even carved out the water key here too!" Lips says excitedly. Though the statue was tiny, his left hand immediately landed on the keys. Had he been a toddler and the statue a real instrument, he could really play it.
"I thought you'd like it".
"Yeah, I do. Ya always find the best little gifts, Doc".
"Because I know my boyfriend~" Lips leans against Dr. Teeth with a satisfied smile on his face. Animal immediately bounds over and lays on Lips, squishing him between him and his boyfriend.
"Wild Man, please, this kinda hurts..."
"Animal want hug".
"Could you go and find our mustached friend, Animal?" Dr. Teeth asks as he gently pushes their drummer off of Lips. Lips nuzzles his cheek on Dr. Teeth's cheek, feeling his beard tickle his skin.
"What's up, Cuddle bug?"
"Nothin', Doc. Just love ya a lot". The Good Doctor hums deeply as their bassist grabs ahold of Animal yelling at a food stand. Maybe next time, they should go on a regular date in town. It would be a bit better than seeing the same vendors from last year again.
