"Oh I know that face anywhere," Mia said as I walked into the dining room and joined her and Autumn at the table for breakfast.
"That's the 'I got some good Mafia dick' look," Autumn said, looking up from her phone.
I knew I was probably smiling like a school girl with a crush, but I didn't think it had been that obvious. "You're not wrong," I told them, reaching across the table to grab a piece of strawberry-jellied toast.
"Wait, seriously?" Autumn punched my arm. And that shit hurt. I grunted, an aching feel shooting down the length of my arm. She definitely left a bruise. "Why didn't you tell us, bitch? I mean when the hell did this even happen?"
"After our dance performance for the guys, Luciano took me back to the house to look up at the moon." I leaned in, whispering, "we did it on the roof."
Autumn shook her head, clapping in approval. "You crazy fuckers."
I filled them in on everything they missed with Luciano and I. And by the end of it, they were hugging and congratulating me on my new found relationship.
Mia was surprised by how good of a lover Luciano was, while Autumn kept taking notes on where she wanted her and her husband to have sex next. I guess having sex in front of tons of people wasn't crazy enough.
"Mama!" Little Isabel came barreling into the dining room like a whirlwind tornado, her curly hair bouncing behind her.
"What's wrong Izzy?"
"Christiano peed on papa's new suit!" The four year old yelled, always sounding like she had a microphone stuck in her throat.
"He did what?" Mia stood up, cursing ever so quietly so her daughter wouldn't hear and repeat it. "Where is papa?"
"In the bathroom."
Mia looked at us, sighing with frustration. "I better go handle this." As soon as Mia left you could hear Marcellius cursing in Italian. It's amazing how well you can hear everything despite how large and spacious the house is.
"So, I've been thinking..."
Oh no.
I've learned that Autumn and thinking really shouldn't go together. Although her last plan went rather well, the scheming look in her eyes never ceases to scare me.
"Don't give me that look," she chided. "You're living proof that my plans always work." So far, yes. "And besides, I was just thinking about having a little party. Couples invited only."
"What for?"
"Well one: to celebrate the fact that you two lovebirds are finally together. And two: to celebrate Luciano finally losing his virginity." She clasped her hands together, squealing with excitement. "It will be fun I promise."
I wanted to ask her what the party entailed, but she scurried out of the room to dial Cesare's number.
The idea of Cesare and Autumn throwing a party is bound to have some outrageous shit. I'm trying to mentally prepare for whats to come, but I knew that there was no way you could prepare for the craziness in the mind of those two.
The only thing you can for sure expect from them is that somebody will end up either wasted, high, or butt ass naked.
Standing up, I walked back down the hall, passing by Mia in the process. "How's Marcel?"
"He was a little pissed at first, but after I gave him a little attention he calmed down." I chuckled in response. She started to continue walking the opposite direction, but stopped. "Autumn told me about this party she's planning on throwing tonight for you you and Luci."
"You told her it was crazy right?"
She nodded. "I did." She shrugs, accepting that our friend will always be crazy. "But she already knows that. So be prepared for the unexpected. Especially now that Cesare's involved."
I brushed down the side of my face with my palm, rolling my eyes. I better go find Luciano and tell him the "good" news.
Heading over to the game room, I found Luciano and Aloi playing a game of pool. "Do you guys ever have any real Mafia business to do?" All they ever do is play video games, go to the nightclub, and play pool.
Living here is the complete opposite of when I was living at the Pescatore mansion. He was always busy. He was either selling drugs, killing people, or dipping his cock in every woman he encounters.
And then he'd come home and expect to be treated like a king. And if or when I refused, that's when he'd torture and rape me. It was a routine with him.
Some days if I were lucky, he'd come home too drunk to fight and just fall asleep. Those were the nights when I cried myself to sleep.
"Marcel handles most of the business. If he needs us, then he'll let us know," Aloi replied.
I guess that makes sense considering he's the head of the Mafia. I looked over at the urn containing Dante's ashes. Luciano told me about him while we were on the plane. He told me about how much he had meant to them, and how hard Cesare had taken it when he died.
My eyes trailed passed the picture of Dante and onto the picture of a young woman with what looked like her son beside her.
"Who's that?"
I walked over to the ledge, staring at the picture of a mother and her son. They were hugging one another and smiling. They looked so happy here.
"That's Selene, Marcellius' ex-girlfriend. And the boy, who's eighteen now, is their son Miko. He's a way in college at the moment, which is why you haven't met him yet." Luciano was trying to sound like he wasn't affected by the loss of his friends and family, but I could tell that he was.
Wanting to get rid of the sadness that seemed to sit like a thick fog in the air, I told him about the party Cesare and Autumn were planning for us tonight.
Luciano rolled his eyes, accidently potting the white ball and black eight ball into the corner pocket, losing the game. He handed Aloi a a hundred dollar bill and set the wooden cue onto the table.
"Do you think they would notice if we didn't show up to our own party?"
Grabbing his shirt collar, I tugged him away from the table. "Yes, they would. So we better make the most of the time we have alone." I waved goodbye to Aloi, who simply grinned, watching the two of us exit the game room to spend some alone time together.
When we reached our room, I kicked the door open and closed with my heel. "And just so you know," I whispered, flicking my tongue over the birthmark on his neck. "My toes are orange now, your favorite color."
His face burned bright red as he moaned into my ear, causing a shiver to run down my spine and goosebumps to bristle my body. "Porca t-t-troia(fucking hell)..." He stuttered.
I smirked, aroused by his nervousness. It was finally my turn to be in control again. I bit my lip, shoving him back onto the bed and lifting his chin so he was staring directly into my grey eyes.
He gulped, covering the erection in his pants with his hands. "You're scaring me, Val."
"Good."
