Lesson 7 Chapter 55 - A Multi-Day Tour of The Demon Lord's Castle (1)

 "All right! It's finally time for our retreat! Three days and two nights! So, Yuki! Are you pumped for this or what?!" I quickly tried to steady myself when Mammon suddenly threw his arm over my shoulders. This is different from how he was before. He was scared but now he is excited?

"...Sort of?" I didn't know how to respond to the excited Mammon. I was having a hard time with him leaning his whole weight on me, he was close and I was trying not to realize he is also an attractive male. He is Mammon, a tsundere who loves money. I kept telling myself that until my heart wasn't acting stupid.

"Hey now, come on, let's hear some more excitement, eh!" Mammon started to pull at my cheek and I was struggling not to let any tears come out. I am a weak human! Why is he hurting my cheek like this?! He is a bully!

"Mammon, you're being really loud." Levi was looking at Mammon with a frown on his face and rubbing at his forehead.

"Aw, what's with you, Levi? Get that grumpy look off your face, killjoy!" Mammon wagged a finger in front of Levi's face like he was scolding him. Ah, I know what's goin' on here. You stayed up real late last night playin' games and readin' manga and stuff, didn't ya? Yup, I knew it! One point for Mammon!"

"You're like... too excited right now, Mammon, and it's really annoying." Levi's expression got even worse and I was worried he would try to attack Mammon with me so close to him.

"Mammon being annoying is nothing new, but yeah... this morning he's ESPECIALLY annoying." Satan's expression wasn't looking good either and it felt like he was getting surrounded by some dark aura as he continued to glare at Mammon.

"At first, you were complaining about how this retreat was going to be a drag." I was rather happy that Levi brought up what I was thinking. I mean Mammon switch through his emotions quickly.

"Ah shut up, both of you. Sure I thought it was gonna be a drag, but now that's actually time to go, I'm excited! Anythin' wrong with that, huh?!" Mammon finally let go of my shoulders but I almost fell to the ground but managed to catch myself. Mammon had his arms crossed over his chest and his cheeks were red.

"What are you, an elementary school kid about to head off on a field trip?" Satan let out a sigh as he looked at Mammon. Mammon looked like he was going to say something but stopped when he noticed something behind Satan.

"Who, Beel, that bag of yours is waaay too big! Pff, I bet it's stuffed with food, ain't it?" Mammon shook his head at Beel and I couldn't help but wonder why his bag was so big... We weren't going to be there for long and I am pretty sure we would get food... This seems a bit extreme...

"Well, what about Asmodeus? I'd say he's the one you should be criticizing when it comes to luggage." Beel motioned over to Asmodeus who also arrived and he had... a lot of luggage behind him. Why does he have so many?!

"Gooood morning, everyone! My, you're all early! Ugh, I just couldn't decide how I wanted to do my hair this morning, you know? It took so much time..." Asmodeus pouts his lips as he messes around with his hair that still looks perfect. I mean was something off with it? I don't get it...

"...Asmodeus. WHY do you have so much luggage?" Satan's expression was as surprised as mine. It was like he was going on a trip for a month instead of three days...

"Yeah. It's only for two nights, ya know? You think you're headin' off on a tour of three worlds or somethin'?" Mammon's eyebrow was raised as he took in all of Asmodeus's luggage with his arms crossed over his chest.

"This is actually quite a bit less than what I wanted to bring. But then it occurred to me that I only have two hands, so I could only bring two suitcases with me." Asmodeus said that as if he didn't see the rest of us using a small bag that could hold enough clothes for three days.
