Lesson 7 Chapter 56 - A Multi-Day Tour of The Demon Lord's Castle (2)

"Hello, and good morning! We've already got quite the crowd here, don't we?" Simeon gave his usual gentle smile and I could feel my heart jumping around in my chest. I can't get used to how attractive he was....

"You demons sure know how to get an early start. I see you managed to get here before us." Solomon greeted us with a smile as well and I couldn't help but think he knew that Lucifer rushed us here.

"...!...Yuki!" Before I could realize what was happening, I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head rubbing into my stomach. I pause for a second before going to hug him back. It was very hard not to squeal and rub his cheeks. I wonder if this was happiness?

"What the...! HEY! What's the big idea runnin' up and huggin' Yuki like that?!" Before I could react, Mammon pulled off of me. He then went in front of me, making sure Luke couldn't hug me again. I couldn't help but frown at him for doing this... What's the big deal messing with such a cute little angel? For some reason, Beel and Levi weren't pleased with Luke either.

"Yuki, I'm SO happy you're all right...! So, SO HAPPY! There aren't even words...!" Luke wasn't paying attention to Mammon as he gave me such a cute smile and was looking at me with big eyes. I wanted to hug him so badly at the moment, he is soooo cute!

"What's all this about?" Satan seemed confused with the way Luke was acting but I didn't care, I just thought it was so cute seeing him so worried about me.

"I'm guessing he must feel responsible for what happened... You know, for how Lucifer nearly attacked Yuki." Asmodeus told Satan this and I could feel my heart squeeze in my chest, I am so happy he cares so much about me.

"I'm so, so sorry, Yuki. You could've been hurt𑁋or worse𑁋and it was all my fault... I know I called and apologized for this already, but it's such a relief to see you safe and sound. I've been beside myself with worry..." Luke was looking up at me with big, watery eyes and I felt like I needed to comfort him. I nudged Mammon out of my way and put my hand on Luke's head.

"Don't worry about it. It's all right." I smiled at him as I kept rubbing his head. Luke smiles back as he allows me to keep petting his head. "Are you actually an angel? Is that it? An angel disguised as a human?"

"I've heard rumors that Simeon and Diavolo met and mediated a solution together. Is that right?" Solomon said that as he looked over to Simeon with a curious look in his eyes. "Yes, we did," Simeon told Solomon that with his usual beautiful smile.

"Indeed, yes. Isn't that right, Lucifer?" Diavolo looked over at Lucifer with a smile on his face and Lucifer's expression looked displeased, like really displeased. "....Yes."

Luke moved a bit closer to me as he avoided looking at Lucifer. I wanted to block Lucifer from looking at such a pure baby boy. I always have such a weakness for cute children...

"Hehe. Just look at the expression on Luke's face. He looks like a dog with his tail between his legs." Asmodeus couldn't help but chuckle at the way Luke was acting and Satan gave him a look. "Shhh... he'll hear you, Asmodeus."

"All right, then. Now that we're all here, perhaps we should go ahead and explain how this retreat is going to work." Diavolo said this while nodding his head toward Barbatos.

"Certainly, My Lord. The aim of this retreat is for demons, angels, and humans to intermingle so that each may gain a better understanding of the other." Barbatos told us this with his usual calm expression.

"Well, as we're stayin' the night, I say the best way to intermingle is by havin' a pillow fight!" Mammon looked excited when he said that and I couldn't help but compare him to a child in my head.
