Simon sat staring up at the ceiling, tracing the white swirls with his eyes. His mind raced, his thoughts swirling through his brain. Most were to do with one girl.

A knock at the door broke him away from his thoughts. "Come in" Simon croaked not feeling in a social mood.

He was faced with Nick stood in the door frame. Leaning his body against it.

"Can I help" Simon stated

"Yeah, what's up with you recently?" Nick hit back, sitting next to the taller.

"Nothing nick." Simon shot back, not wanting to talk about it.

"How about you talk to JJ, I'm sure hes better at understanding than I am." Simon questioned his brothers idea. JJ wasnt the best for it but he sure did make it a laugh. Exactly what Simon needed.

Simon just nodded, watching nick form a soft smile before walking out.

---

"Fuck" Simon muttered, walking down the road to JJs at the early hours of the morning. He shivered a little, running his numb fingers through his hair.

He really needed to speak to him, get things off his chest. Just clear the air and feel a bit better.

He felt a drop of rain fall onto his hand, he lifted his hood over his head before looking up at the sky, the stars and the moon glowing the the darkness.

---

Three simple taps where heard at JJs door, lucky for the brunette his friend was home and awake.

"Erm he-, simon?" JJ spoke, confused on why his best mate was at his doorstep. He stepped to the side, welcoming him into the warmth of his home.

"I-er, can we talk I thought you would be the best for speaking too." Simon stuttered, still shivering from the cold.

JJ just nodded, walking up the stairs the the taller following behind.
