A Mother's Love

Chapter 5

Jennie's Pov

We're now having the Family Event. Friends and families have arrived an hour ago already and now one of our co-workers is explaining the next activity they held for them.

"The Musical Chair!" Nancy announced and got everyone clapping their hands

"YAY! my favorite!" Liam yelled to me and Lisa who is sitting next to me

"Could we invite class 1A kids and their mommy and daddy to join us?" Nancy said 

"Daddy let's go!" Liam said pulling Lisa with him.

I laughed at how Lisa is being forced and clearly this isn't her thing

"Liaaaam" Lisa said while she was being dragged 

"Cute" I mumbled 

Lisa's Pov

Musical chair? Seriously.. aish!

I held Liam's hands while we were waiting for the other families to join in

"Okay, Can we have one more person to join us?" Ms. Nancy asked

No more parents wanted to join, some were being forced but still chose to remain in their seats

"Ms. Jennie!! Join me and daddy" Liam yelled getting everyone's attention on us and Jennie

I could tell she tensed up a bit when Liam yelled her name. She then shyly shake her head no, not wanting to join

"Ohhh, Why don't Ms. Jennie join us?!" Ms. Nancy said

Jennie repeatedly shake her head no and smiling, Her little mandu cheeks were so visible, I found it so cute.

Then I felt Liam let go of my hands and saw him running towards Jennie to get her

"Come on Ms. Jennie" Liam said while he pulls her towards us

"Let's clap for Ms. Jennie!!" Someone yelled getting everyone to clap for her

I clapped as well, Slightly laughed when she was in front of me now and Liam waiting for the game to start

"I guess I wasn't the only one being forced" I said and smiled at her

"For my Liam, I'll do it." She said and jokingly rolled her eyes on me making me chuckle

"Let the game begin!" Ms. Nancy yelled and the song started

Everyone walking in circle while doing silly dances. I was laughing a long with Jennie because Liam was too funny and cute at the same time. The music turns off and we rush to sit, saving us from losing

The circle is getting slower and slower now. Only few more of us are still playing. Liam seemed pretty focused, I think he really wants to win this game. I heard the prizes were candies

Aish, Kids...

Only 5 of us left and 4 chairs remaining. I'm surprised Jennie could keep up. She doesn't look like the person who would play. Plus on heels? Nice.

"Let's play the song!" 

then we started to walk and dance again, Laughing and smiling together

And then the song stops.

everyone rushing to sit and another woman who rushed and accidentally pushed Jennie making her fall on my lap

I quickly catch her with my arms and wrapped them around her waist preventing her from falling and her arms wrapped tight around my neck and our face an inch away as we stare at each other. I could tell she got scared from almost falling.
