Chapter 31

Flashback after the dinner date with Jennie

Lisa's Pov

After I drove Jennie and Liam back home. I went straight to meet my bestfriends. It's been awhile I haven't seen them. After everything that happened with my family.

"Lisashiii"

"Monkeyyy!"

"Hi Rose, Jisoo" I said plainly

"What's up with you?" Jisoo asked as soon as I got in and sat down 

"You look like you're lost" Rose said

"I know right" Jisoo continued

"I'm sorry, It's just.." I hesitantly said

"Lis, don't you even miss us?" Rose asked making me look at her

"I fucking know right! You should be embracing us right now!" Jisoo slightly yelled

"I'm sorry..." I sighs and stood up to give them hugs

I honestly didn't know how I was going to do this all... What if I fucked up again? What if things are different now and it doesn't turn how I want it to be?

"Lisa?" Jisoo called me out

"What's bothering you?" She asked again

I stared at her and rose for few seconds before dropping the words that scared me the most

"I'm going to ask her to marry me." 

I said straight and stood up walking back and front with my hands on top of my head

"You mean, Jennie?" Rose asked

"Who else would it be Rose.." Jisoo said

"You never know.." Rose said and shrugged her shoulders

"It's Jennie, Alright." I said and continued to panicked

"That's what's been bothering you?" Jisoo asked

"Is it so much of a big deal, you're acting like that?" Rose asked

"Yes, and Yes." I said looking at them like this isn't a big issue

"Then go and marry her Lisa, who's stopping you?" Jisoo said

"No one is. I'm just nervous.."

".. What if she says no?" I continued before sitting down

"Lisa, I'm sure that she loves you" Rose said

"Besides, why would she say no to Liam's daddy" Rose continued

"Because I clearly fucked her up? With our past and everything else.." I said

"Lisa, I'm sure Jennie has moved on." Jisoo said and rose nod 

After my conversion with Rose and Jisoo, I left and went straight home

I stood at my balcony as I stare at the simple diamond ring I bought for Jennie while I take a sip of my red wine

"Will you say yes to me Jennie?" I whispered to myself

I put back the ring inside my pocket and returned to my room to rest.

Next day

I only have today to fix everything I needed. I decided I was going to tell my mother and Liam about this. The fact that I know my mom would support me with my decision calms a lot. But it doesn't change the fact that I'm nervous about what Jennie's answer would be.
