A Mother's Love

Chapter 13

Jennie's Pov

I was having a very peaceful sleep when I woke up to this sunset shining right to my face. I opened my eyes and Liam wasn't next to me anymore, I thought maybe he went to play.. I smiled and closed my eyes again to turned the other side but to my surprised, there was no Lisa as well.

I finally decided to get up and slowly opened my eyes again.

I smiled hearing Lisa and Liam talking and laughing in the living, What could they possibly be doing?

Before I walk my way to them, I took the robe to cover myself up, And there I leaned on the wall and smiled as I watch Liam talking while Lisa listens to everything he says

"Daddy, Do you love Mommy Jen?" Liam asked and I was shocked, But mostly nervous about what Lisa has to say

"Why do you ask buddie?" Lisa asked and I could tell she was frowning

"I saw you kiss her when we were in the beach daddy" Liam said

"Yahhh- You're not supposed to look!" Lisa said jokingly

"HAHAHHA" Liam laughed when Lisa started to tickle him making me laugh softly

"I do, Liam..." Lisa said after sitting back to her position and I swear I felt butterflies in my stomach

"How about mom?" Liam asked

"Your mom and I couldn't work things out anymore Liam, I'm sorry" Lisa said sadly making Liam smile weakly

"Do you like Mommy Jen?" Lisa asked and I waited for Liam to respond back

He looked straight to Lisa's eyes and I can see tears starting to form. 

He shook his head making me frown but the sudden respond. He doesn't like me? 

"I love Mommy Jen" Liam said making Lisa smile at him

I froze for a bit and couldn't accept the fact that Liam and I have been very attached to one and another. 

I love Liam so much I could run to him and hug him but I didn't want to ruin their little bonding

"Do you think mommy Jen would change also?" Liam asked getting my attention back

"What do you mean?" Lisa asked

"Mom changed and doesn't love us anymore" Liam said making Lisa hugged him and caress his back slowly

My heart broke seeing them like this.. Lisa gave everything..

"I don't know buddi-" 

"Heyy..." I softly said getting their attention. I walked towards them and carried Liam to sit on my lap

"I will never change ok?" I said softly looking at Liam

"I love you and daddy so much" I said sincerely making Liam smiled and wrapped his tiny arms around my neck and his head on the crook of my neck

"Thank you" He mumbled making me smile

I looked over to Lisa who was staring at us and smiling. tears were visible when you look into her eyes

"I love you" Lisa Whispered softly while slightly squeezing my hands

"I love you too" I whispered back
