Chapter 12: First Day at Hogwarts

Reanna's P.O.V

I followed Prashu and Sophia down into the Great Hall for breakfast. I saw the twins sitting at the Gryffindor table. They waved at me. I guess they seemed to have forgotten about last night. I gave them a small smile in return. I sat down by the Ravenclaw table and started to eat breakfast. To my left I heard girls giggling and whispering. I knew who they were. Cho Chang and her group. Prashu had told me about her. Cho was very popular. She was quite pretty and played Chaser for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team.

Cho and her friends were pointing and looking at someone at the Hufflepuff table. I looked over and realised they were talking about Cedric. I turned back to Prashu and Sophia.

"Hey, what classes do you have first?" I asked.

Both of them reached into their bags and grabbed out their timetables.

"We have Charms first. You?" Sophia asked.

"I have Charms too!" I exclaimed and they both squealed happily and pulled me into a hug.

We finished breakfast and stood up to go to Charms. I met Fred and George by the exit and they gave me a look. I groaned. They always gave me that look when they wanted something.

"Alright," I sighed, turning to look at them, "What do you want?"

"We need help with making an aging potion." Fred said, looking hesitantly at his twin.

I crossed my arms. "I assume this is for getting over the age line?"

George nodded.

"There's nothing I can say to make you change your mind?" I said, exasperated.

They shook their heads simultaneously.

I let out a breath of frustration. "Alright fine..."

A grin spread on both their faces and they pulled me into a hug.

"Thanks-"

"-You're the best!"

I just rolled my eyes as they said bye before they went to their next class.

I caught up with Prashu and Sophia.

"What did the Weasley Twins want?" Sophia asked, turning to look at me.

"They need help making an aging potion." I said.

"You know that won't get them over the line, right?" Prashu said.

"Yeah I know. It's just if I refuse they'll annoy me and bug me for the rest of the week." I explained.

They led me up 3 sets of stairs and down a corridor of classrooms. They stopped in front of a classroom. We were a bit early so we waited outside.

As minutes passed more students came. Now there was a line of students behind us. I recognised the Hufflepuff so I made a guess that we were having Charms with the Hufflepuff's.

I was talking with Prashu when someone interrupted our conversation.

"Hi!"

I turned around and saw Cedric smiling at me. I felt my face heat up and butterflies erupted in my stomach.

"H-hey!"

'You stammered. You idiot! You just stammered in front of him!' you thought, mentally slapping yourself in your face.

Cedric started a conversation between the two of you and you were relieved because you were probably definitely going to embarrass himself in front of him. He was thinking about entering the Triwizard Tournament.
