It's already been two weeks since Takemichi was in Juvie. And it has also been two week since Takemichi realized that if you want to survive in Juvie you have to be one of the tough guys.
They are brutal here.
If you want to be respected you have to fight for it or you'll be their slave. So Takemichi started working out at night while everyone was asleep.
And so the time passed.
His friends weren't allowed to visit him for about a week after he got in Juvie but after that one week he was visited by so many of his friends. They knew what happened that one night and they forgave him. Takemichi told them that he was grateful for their understanding but if he was honest he couldn't care less. Somehow it wasn't not in his interest to keep them by his side.
If he would still think like he thought one month ago he would start crying just by the thought of losing his friends but somehow he couldn't feel any pain while thinking of them leaving him or any happiness while thinking of them staying around him with a bright smile on their face being happy and healthy.
It's because of Juvie. That's why I'm like this...
Hinata visited him every weekend and after she was out of school while Mikey and the others couldn't care less about school and would visit him every time they got the chance to. Hinata often thought of skipping school and visiting him but Takemichi already scolded her because of that.
"Hina, you shouldn't throw your future away. And why are you even visiting me?! I already told you that I am a bad influence for you..."
"I still remember everything you said but Takemichi-Kun... I still love you so please let me visit you..."
He wanted her to forget him but she didn't want to.
Takemichi was now sitting on a bench while he was surrounded by unconscious bodies. They wanted to beat him up but Takemichi fought back.
"You guys... are really no fun," Takemichi said looking at the sky.
"How long are you going to stand there? Thinking I wouldn't see you?"
"Hah! You're a cool one, let's be buddies, buddy!" a boy said.
He was standing behind a tree and was looking at Takemichi from afar since the boys attacked him. The boy was tall, maybe as tall as Draken-Kun? And had black hair which was green at the end. His deep gray eyes looked at Takemichi brightly.
Takemichi on the other hand looked at him without showing any expression. But deep inside he was thinking of Mikey. He had the same expression on his face when Draken put a flag on his food. Or when he got a dorayaki from him. But Takemichi couldn't feel any warmth while thinking of Mikey. Yes of course they were friends. But Mikey also threatened him with his life.
"Bring Baji back. Or I'll kill you"
Takemichi never took it personally. He thought that Mikey had to be like this because he was the leader of a gang with 100 members. And somehow he took it personally now. It annoyed him that he got talked to like that. A little rude if we would ask Takemichi.
"Why should I?" Takemichi responded, walking away.
"Huh?! You're mean and cold at the same time! That's not cool, buddy!"
"Don't call me your buddy! We're not buddies!" Takemichi said.
"Well not yet! But someday we will be. I have contact that can bring us out"
"Bring you out."
"Huh? You're not coming with me?"
"What do you mean not coming with you? Are your contacts really trying to bring you out at this moment?"
