"That's really cool. I wish I could do that but my parents want me to get a proper job." I said calmly.
"Oh yeah my parents are really calm" Yael Said.
"Oh ok. So what else is there to know about you Miss Yael?" I said in a detective voice. She laughed at my sudden voice change.
"I would like to speak to my lawyer." Yael played along. We both sat there for afew seconds before bursting out laughing. I'm pretty sure everyone is Starbucks was staring at us but we didn't care.
"So um Joy, I wasn't really honest about what my parents do, my mother isn't an author and my father is not an English teacher. My mother and father and the embassators of Lebanon. I come from a very wealthy family. I didn't tell you at first because my parents don't trust alot of people so neither do I but now that I've gotten to know you abit better I can tell you this. And along with this I wanted to ask you if you would accompany me as my date to my parents family dinner on Saturday night. It's a formal event that we have every year to get my family together and I would like you to please be my date? But I need to warn you that this will be how I come out to my family. I especially wat to come out now since I am moving to California next week. That was also a lie, sorry. I don't live in California. I am moving to California as the new embassator in California for Lebanon. " Yael Said. She had so much concern in her voice. I think she is scared I am going to run away or leave because she lied.
"Its ok Yael, I understand that you had to lie you and your parents would be at risk if that information gets into the wrong hands. And of course I will be your date and I will be there every step of the way when you come out to your parents." I got up and gave her a massive hug. She hugged me back tightly. After that she explain afew other small details to me, including the fact that there was a formal dress code. 😭 and I don't have any formal clothes, so now I have to go shopping.

"Eeeeee" I just got home from my date with Yael and it was so fun. We spent almost the whole day together. We got to know so much about each other. I got to know that her favorite color is Blue, her favorite food is Sushi, and her favorite animal is a koala bear. It was interesting to learn more about her family.
I feel like a Lovestruck teenager. I sat on my bed thinking about the dinner. We both go to California next week Wednesday.
I was going to go to the mall tomorrow to get an outfit. I didn't have a clue what I wanted to wear yet. All I new was I didn't want a tight or very poofy dress.
I decided to get ready for bed since I had an early morning tomorrow going to the shops.
*beep*beep*beep*
My alarm went off at 6am. I got up and went straight to the shower. I always feel icky in the morning so I shower in the morning and at night. I wanted to get dressed in something easy to get in and out of so I put on a plain white top, a pair of jeans and sandals. My hair was just in a simple bun.
