Chapter 6: Tae💜

Taehyung POV

Lana told us Y/N was having a shower and getting dressed since she still had her dance stuff on so I decided that one I hear the shower turn off I'll give her 5 minutes to get dressed before I go to her. I need to tell her, I need her to know who I am. It's torture not being able to treat her like I used to.

"Tae are you ok?" Jungkook asked me. He must see that I'm uneasy because I don't know hoe she will react because when I told her before she was shocked but accepted it because we were friends before we found out. But now we havnt had time to form a friendship first. I heard the shower turn off before I answer Jungkook.

"Oh um yeah, I'm just abit uneasy because I decided I'm going to tell her about who I am once she's dressed." I told Jungkook. He seemed surprised.

"Oh are you sure you are ready Tae?" Jungkook seemed worried, I mean he also has reason to be worried because I know how much he cares about Y/N.

"Yeah, I'm sure she will accept it and understand. " I said reassuring him.

"Ok just be gentle" Jungkook said.

"Don't worry I will. Ok Im gonna go now. Please make sure no one comes in untill I'm done. Be back later." I said to Jungkook, then began walking to Y/N's room.

Here goes nothing. I knocked on the door.

"Coming" Y/N said on the other side. I heard abit of shuffling before the door opened.

"Hey Y/N can I please talk to you. It's important." I said trying not to sound too serious since I didn't want to worry her.

"Oh um sure Tae, come in." 'Tae' she always used to call me that. It feels since to hear her say it again. She moved aside to allow me to go past her into her room. She motioned for me to sit on the bed so I sat down and she sat down next to me.

"What is it Tae?" She said looking slightly worried.

"Ok Y/N. So at some stage you and present me will figure it out but I needed to tell you now because I can't keep hiding it from you. Y/N, you are my half sister. We have the same father. Father didn't tell you and your mom but before he married your mom he had a relationship with my mom. He was never married to my mom but my mom got pregnant by him. He panicked since they weren't married and decided to leave my mom when she was 4 months pregnant. The only time I ever had contact with him was when it was my birthday and he would send a letter with some money, but other than that it was just me and my mom. I won't lie to you, I hated our father for leaving my mom and marrying your mom but after he told me in one of the birthday letters that he had another child I wanted to meet you so badly since I always wanted a sibling but my mom wouldn't let me near our father. After 5 years he never contacted me again. At first I though he forgot about me because he had you but it turns out, that was when your mother passed away. I never stopped looking for you though, and even though it took awhile I eventually figured out it was you. It was during a conversation where you mentioned our father, and you said his name. After I asked you more about him I put 2 and 2 together." I didn't really look at Y/N while I was explaining everything. I dint want to see her face. I was scared she would hate me.

"I know its alot to take in, and I understand if you don't want to talk to me..." I finally looked up and there were tears in her eyes like me but she was smiling? Why would she be smiling?

The next thing I knew she engulfed me in a tight hug. I was shocked at first but soon hugged her back even tighter.

Y/N POV

Tae just explained everything about me being his sister and I couldn't be happier. I had always wanted a sibling. He seemed to be scared that I was going to hate him or blame him for I don't know what but I felt the opposite. Even though I only found just found out, I felt like I would do anything to protect him so when I saw him look up and he had tears in his eyes it made me cry because I didn't want him to be sad so I quickly hugged him so tight like I was scared to let go because he is now the only family I have and I will do anything to protect him even though he is older than me.

"Thank you Tae, you don't know how much it means to me to have a brother. Especially an older brother that I can look up to. After dad left me I had no one until the Chaotic Trio, but now I have you." I said after I finally let go of him. I looked up at his amd he was smiling. His smile is so adorable, his mouth is in like a box shape. It looks just like when dad used to smile.

"Thank you for accepting me Y/N." He hugged me again quickly before I got up to go splash my face with water since now my eyes were puffy. Tae followed me into my bathroom and did the same thing since his eyes were also puffy.

We finished up in the bathroom and went out my room, Tae went to go sit with everyone else and I went to get some pillows and blankets for the guys. I felt bad that some of them had to sleep on the floor but we didn't have any other option. I came in with the pillows and blankets and gave them to the guys.

"Thanks Y/N, do you wanna watch the movie with us?" Yoongi asked, I'm glad he was starting to talk more and be more comfortable around us.

"Its ok Yoongi, I'm kinda tired and I have an early lesson tomorrow morning so I'm gonna head to bed. Night guys." I said to them all before heading to bed.

I closed my door and got into bed thinking about everything that happened today.
