Joy POV (Monday, 6am)
*beep*beep*
I turned off my alarm and got out of bed. I went straight to the shower, after my shower I did my hair in a simple ponytail and got dressed. I decided on a white button up top with brown pants.
I'm currently staying in an apartment being paid for by my university because I'm in New York as part of my curriculum. It's small but it's big enough for me. I've been enjoying my time in New York but at the same time I miss my friends so much. I'll be going back next week, so I'm exited for that, but anyway.

I made myself some muffins on Saturday so I had one of them for breakfast today with an orange juice before heading to the Library. I'm currently working at Stapleton Library at the checkout desk and packing books.
I went out my apartment and onto a bus. I use the bus because it's quicker than walking but it's also affordable. Once I arrived, I unlocked the door and opened the library for the day. We don't really get too many customers since so much is online now and people don't really read much anymore. So I mostly spend my dad listening to music and arranging shelves.
--Time Skip till end of day--
I only had about 4 customers today. An old lady. A mom with her little boy and a girl around my age. She had a Lebanese accent, she was dressed in a cute red and white stripped top, with loose jeans and red converse shoes.

She was really cute. But I was too shy to ask her out. Especially since she most likely lives in New York and I live in California. So we only exchanged afew words and she left. It's been about 10 minutes and we are about to close. I was cleaning up the table where the gurl sat. She was reading The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell my favorite book. She has taste. But when I picked up the book a note fell out.
