Feeling Blue

Chapter four

Donnie's POV

We were all freaking out! Leo's location said that he was in the shredder's lair. How long has he been in there? The main question is -

IS HE EVEN ALIVE?!

"Get him out of there!" Raph yelled at me.

"Do you expect me to have magical powers by which I can transport him from shredder's lair to here?!" I said shouting back at him.

"Guys we don't have time to argue. We need to get leo outta there." Mikey said trying to calm us down.

We both looked at mikey. We knew he was right. First things first. Getting leo out of shredder's lair.

I sat down on the computer and started hacking Leo's T-Phone. We needed to know if he was ok or alive. But suddenly the location vanished, just like that! I could think of only one reason. Leo must have self-destructed his T-Phone, so that shredder wouldn't find out our lair's location.

At least I know he is alive otherwise he wouldn't be able to self-destruct his phone.

I turned around to face my brothers.

"Leo's alive! But his location vanished. He must have self-destructed his T-Phone in order to not give away our lair's location." I said to my brothers who stood there looking both relived and broken.

"So how can we rescue him now?" Mikey said but got smacked on the back of his head by raph."owwwwww!"

"We know his location dummy! Just because his T-Phone exploded doesn't change the fact that he is still in shredder's lair." Raph said.

"So what's the plan?" I asked them.

Raph looked at me and said "we break into shredder's lair kick his butt and get leo outta there."

"Raph that's a mikey level bad idea." I said.

"Hey!" Mikey said sounding a bit offended.

"Well do you have a better idea?" Raph asked me.

I kept quiet. I sighed and said "Ok, let's go."

Time skip

We reached shredder's lair and sneaked in as quietly and quickly as we could. We saw tigerclaw coming out of a room covered a little in blood. My brothers and I looked at each other. We all had the same horrible thought in our minds. We defeated the footbots guarding the room and went in. We found our brother lying there unconscious with scars and broken bits of his T-Phone. Raph went near leo and shook him. "Leo?" He said.

No answer.

"Leo please wake up." mikey joined in.

No answer.

"LEO!" Raph shouted.

That didn't wake up leo but was enough to alert the foot. Tigerclaw, Xever, Bradford and Karai walked in followed by some footbots.

"I will get leo. You guys stall us some time." I yelled and my  brothers nodded.

I went to leo and started working on the chains but just then I felt a sharp pain in my left elbow. I turned my head and saw and arrow stuck there. I was loosing too much blood! My vision started getting blurry. I heard someone shout my name.

"DONNIE!"

was all I heard when everything went black.

Raph's POV

I and mikey started fighting the foot while Donnie freed leo. I fought tigerclaw and fishface while mikey took care of rahzar and karai. But they were too many for us both to handle I turned my head to see mikey bruised. I knew we had to fall back. I turned towards Donnie only to see him getting struck by an arrow by one of the footbots. "DONNIE!" I yelled my brother's name and ran towards him. I carried Donnie on my back and signalled mikey to retreat. "But what about leo?" He asked me.

"We will to come back for him." I said and made my way out of shredder's lair followed by mikey.

We had just gotten out of shredder's lair when we heard an explosion. We turned behind to see the shredder's lair. Or, once where the shredder's lair was. The lair had exploded with everything and everyone inside. Including....

Leo.

Mikey and I just stood there, tears rolling down our cheeks.

We lost our big brother. The one who had cared for us, the one who had protected us.

"LEO!" I shouted and ran towards the broken lair still carrying Donnie on my back. Mikey followed me, silent tears running down his cheeks. We searched the broken building for hours, hoping to find our big brother. We searched for almost 9 hours till we found a piece of Leo's bandage that, he wears on his legs, covered in blood.

I just stood there. I didn't notice that tears were pouring from my eyes until mikey hugged me tight. I hugged him back with one hand while the other was carrying my injured little brother.

After sometime I broke the hug and started walking home with mikey by my side.

We reached our lair and went inside. Sensei came running out of the dojo. "My sons! Where were you! I was soo worr-  what happened?!"

"S-sensei... L-leo... G-gone..." Mikey tried to say but ended up bursting into tears.

"What do you mean my son? What happened to Leonardo?" Splinter asked in a worried tone.

"Sensei, we went to rescue leo." I started "Donnie got shot on his elbow and mikey and me were getting tired of fighting so we had no choice but to retreat. When we were out a few distance away from shredder's lair it exploded. And... Leo was in there." I said trying to hold back tears but failed.

Master splinter just stood there looking broken. Tears streamed down his cheeks.

Mikey hugged him tight, like there was no tomorrow. I joined the hug.

We all were...
