( So I just got back from Disney and while I was there I had a great idea for story. So watch out for that. I'm kind of excited about it. Should be up in maybe a month at the most)
~ Song for this chapter: In Your Room by Hailstorm~
Dear Journal,
So yesterday was kind of left on a weird ending. I never told you what happened during class with the new guy. Josh. I still love his name. It is so simple. So different.
So class went on as usual but after was a little( a lot) different. Everyone stood and walked to there Watcher then headed out. That was the drill. Josh didn't. He walked to me and my Watcher. He gave a halfsmile than sai, "I like your eyes. They are a pretty color."
Then he walked away. Didn't do or say anything else. Just walked away. I was weird, but it also gave me a warm feeling on the inside. I've never been complimented before. Noone has ever payed thatmuch attention to me.
That is when a question hit me. What color are my eyes? It has been so long since I was allowed to look in a mirror. Were they blue, brown, hazel? I wanted to know.
At that moment I ran into the hall and saw him walking with his Watcher. His back was turned to me as I raised my voice and asked,"What color are my eyes?"
It was a stupid idea and I wish I didn't do it. He didn't even answer me. Josh turned around, looked at me, then turned back around.
Now I want to see myself. I want a mirror, but mirrors are illegal. No one is allowed to have mirrors. We aren't even allowed to have silver spoons and forks. (No knives at all) Everything is plastic.
But I want to see my eyes, Just my eyes.
Thanks for Listening,
Annabeth
