Little Karina West chased her cousin Randy Miles around his backyard. They were playing tag as normal eight-year-olds do at their age.

Karina was so close to tagging Randy but she tripped and fell to the ground. Her cousin stopped in his tracks, turned to look at her, and came over to help her up.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Good enough to tag you." She said with a laugh as she tagged him.

Their game continued for a while until Randy's mom, Sera called them in for dinner.

"Aw. Can we play one more game?" Karina pleaded with Randy's Mom. Sera gave a small laugh before answering her niece.

"I'm sorry Karina but it's dinner. You can play after, okay?" Sera told Karina.

"Yes, Ma'am," Karina replied looking down at the ground. The two cousins followed Sera into the house. Karina loved Miles' home. It was very cute. It was a two-story house on about three acres of land.

Karina loved to come over and play with her cousin. She mostly enjoyed their horses.

"After dinner can we go look at the horses?" Randy asked his mom.

"If it's okay with Karina's parents," Sera replied.

"Yes ma'am!" He replied excitedly.

Randy and Karina ran up ahead of Sera. Quickly the two ran into the house, took their shoes off, and ran into the dining room. There in the small but lovely looking dining room was Karina's parents and Randy's dad.

"Did y'all have fun?" Randall, Karina's uncle asked.

The two nodded. "Can we go look at the horses afterward?" Karina asked.

Karina loved the horses most. The Miles' had three beautiful horses. Her favorite was Sera's horse. It was a beautiful black mayor, she had white on her hooves, Karina always thought she had little white socks on because of that.

Sierra and Ace shared a look. "It's fine with us," Karina's parents smiled.
