"we look good." emma says as we both stare into the mirror standing beside each other

"not wrong there." i say, "now lets go get april." i say

"so apres, does this boy go to your school?" emma asks whilst driving to tom's house

"yeah but the year below." she replies

"is he nice?" i ask

"he's okay, i haven't really spoken to him." she tells me

"let me know if you like want help introducing him." i say

"thank you." april says

"we're hereee, let's go have a fun night." emma says pulling into his drive

"make sure you take everything." i say to april looking back at her as he opens her door

i get out the passenger side and we all walk up to his front door.

"hey welcome, come in." tom says opening the door

"thank you." i say leading the three of us in

i walk forward and accidentally bump into someone, "sorry." i say looking p and seeing them already looking down at me

"that's alright gorgeous." he says

"do i know you?" i ask

"we went to the same school, names johnny." he replies

"sorry, it feels like ages ago i can't remember anyone." i say

"don't apoligise pretty." he says

"okay lets just move this onto the living room then." i hear tom say from behind me

i turn around, embarrassed that all three of them heard that, especially april, and april knows about me and phil.

i awkwardly follow johnny into tom's living room, i sit down in an arm chair as april walks over.

"what's up?" i ask

"can i sit here?" she whispers looking directly at me

"course." i say getting up knowing this situation must be overwhelming for her because she doesn't know these people

i look over and see johnny tapping the spare space on the sofa next to him, i go and sit down and can feel april's eyes on me.

"so what do you do?" i hear the man sat beside me ask

"i don't really have a job at the minute, but tomorrow i start working for my dad." i explain

"and what will you be doing?" johnny asks

"helping train the england first team." i say

"huh?" he asks

"i did try tell him earlier, her dad is southgate." tom cuts in

"seriously?" johnny asks as i nod, "that's insane."

"when's your brother gonna be here?" i ask tom changing the subject 

"i'll go get him." he says exiting the living room

"so miss southgate." johnny says now putting his arm round my shoulder, "do you have a boyfriend?"

i look at april and know she's thinking the same as me, i didn't know what was gonna happen with phil now after what i did, just leaving him there and potentially risking his career with telling dad we kissed. he probably hates me.
