"Anyone can tell you you're pretty, and you get that all the time, I know you do. But your beauty's deeper than the make-up and I wanna show you what I see tonight," (Hunter Hayes, Wanted).

Riker's POV Day X

"I'm going to go change then I'll meet you downstairs. Thanks again," Scarlet said. She left the room and a took a small second to wake up.

I hated getting up this early but it was for Scarlet, I couldn't resist not doing something for her. I wanted to make her happy.

I got up and began to get dressed. I was too sleepy to search for anything in particular so I just grabbed the first thing I saw. I knew New York was pretty chilly so I was sure to grab a jacket and scarf. I grabbed a backpack and threw random clothing in not worrying about too much about what I got.

"Are you really going to fly to New York right now?" Ross asked through his pillow.

I chuckled and nodded. "Just let everyone know for me. I don't want to wake them right now."

I went down the stairs and waited for her to come down. While I waited I called one of my dad's friends to book our flight to New York. He worked with some kind of airline service or something like that, I couldn't remember this early. I hung up and he emailed me the tickets.

I was going to walk over to print them when I heard Scarlet's door open. I stopped and studied her, she looked happy which made me happy. She came down and stopped at the last step to look at me gave me a small kiss on the lips.

"Morning," she said taking my hair in her hand and studying me lovingly. I smiled at her and she hugged me. She smelled like perfume but not too much. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the moment. This beautiful girl was all mine.

She pulled away and I picked her up. She was as light as a feather and quietly laughed allowing me to hold her. "You're adorable," she said to me.

I smiled and put her down. "I booked our flight I just need to print our tickets," I told her.

She smiled, "When is it?"

"The plane leaves at six so we should hurry and head to the airport," I explained. She nodded and we went ahead and got everything we needed ready.

We took a cab to the airport and caught our flight in time. I was glad I wasn't recognized, I got a couple stares from suspicious teens but nothing more. I had my hood pulled over my head and wore my glasses.

We boarded the plane and Scarlet seemed more awake. I smiled, "How are you so cheerful?" I teased making a face.

"I love flying," she replied. "I'm not really sure why but I always get a little excited before flights." She smiled and turned to me. Her expression caused me to smile, she was extremely dorky and I loved it.

We took off and I rested my head on her shoulder as I slouched in my seat. I was glad we got first class because I don't think I could've handled a seat any smaller. The flight was about five and a half hours long. Scarlet and I slept through most of it, taking turns lying on each other's laps and chatting every once in a while.

We arrived in New York at two in the afternoon with the three hour time zone difference. We got off the plane and I held hands with Scarlet trying hard not to look up. We waited for a cab outside the airport and I kept yawning.

"Where are we headed first?" I asked.

"Well, we have about three hours. Want to get a hotel room to take a nap and later go eat?" I asked.

"Sounds perfect," I replied. I was still pretty sleepy and was planning on sleeping if it was in a nice hotel or on the airport floor.

We got into a cab and the man asked where we were headed. Scarlet was going to say something when I cut her off. "Can you take us to the Trump Hotel, please?"
