The morning sun shone right at my eyes causing me to stir in my sleep until finally I had enough, opening my eyes I looked up at the sunlight shining straight through the forest canopy.
"Today's the day!" I called out happily jumping out off the tree, landing on the floor I gathered my belongings and made my way to the pack house with pride.
Reaching the front doors I took a deep breath and pushed them open, inside maids and pack member who were running around the house stopped what they where doing and glared at me, scoffing I smiled sweetly and walked up the stairs with confidence. I waited outside of the office for the secretary to let me in, the door opened reveling Andrew with a diamond shaped bruise on his cheek. A small chuckle escaped my lips remembering the silver ring I had on yesterday, his face snapped looking my way before he growled
"You bitch!" He screamed running at me with his fist in the air, smiling I got up as he swung at the couch
"Andrew you can work that bruise." I told him attempting to hold in my laughter, feeling his gaze pierce my forehead caused and outbursts, unable to hold it anymore the room was filled with my laughter as Andrew fan towards me with his fist in the air. Once he got close enough he swung attempting to hit my face, catching his fist I smiled and twisted it behind his back, hearing a slow cracking sound I can tell I was getting to him, it almost hurt seeing him in pain... 'Almost'.
"AH!" He screamed, at that moment the office doors burst open revealing the Alpha
"WHATS GOING ON HERE!" He screamed his voice booming through out the room, every wolf in the room cowered back at the sound of his Alpha voice well everyone but me. Letting go of Andrews arm he fell on the floor groaning, putting my hands up in a surrender I looked over at Alpha Kristen who has a small smirk plastered on his face
"Just defending my self from and attack Alpha." I told him, he looked at me before looking down at Andrew
"He deserved it." I heard him mutter
"What was that sir?" I asked him, looking up he shook his head and smiled at me, clapping his hand he sighed
"Well, your here to sign the papers right?" Nodding my head he pointed at his office, I took it as a sign to enter so I made my way inside
"Wait alpha! What do we do about Andrew?" The secretary asked
"He's my Beta, he should learn to take a hit... If he doesn't heal take him to the pack doctor." Entering his office I sat in the small wooden chair that stood in the other side of his desk, after closing his doors he walked over to the other side of the desk and sat on his King Sized throne.
"Now what's this about you leaving the pack?" He asked me his voice turning serious
"Just like you said, I'm leaving the pack and that's al you need to know." I told him cocking my head to the side giving him and innocent smile, sighing he straightened up in his seat placing his elbows on the table
"I'm serious Victoria, I want an answer." He said in a strict tone, I really didn't care anymore and neither did my wolf. After that rejection we have both decided to rebel, even if it's towards and Alpha.
"I would like to keep my reasons to my self thank you very much." Crossing my legs I looked at my nails while I answered
"I AM YOUR ALPHA AND YOU WILL ANSWER MY QUESTIONS WHEN I TELL YOU TO!" He screamed in his Alpha voice, scoffing I smiled and looked up at him, I wasn't the least bit intimidated by his tough guy act
"My Alpha? Not for long, and this is America I have the right to keep my decisions to myself... Well unless it's court then if I swear that thing in the beginning then I must tell them everything. But this isn't court soo..." I said letting out a loud sigh at the end, the look on his face was priceless, I could tell that he was attempting to hold back but his wolf wasn't budging, he wanted to kill me on the spot which didn't sound like a bad thing.
"So can I get the papers?" I asked extending my hand, his angered look softened into a smirk
"Yeah sure, Here." He said giving me the papers
"Just sign there...there...and there, you also need a blood stamp on that corner to certify your absence." He said, I signed the papers with out even reading cause let's be real, no one ever reads contracts, after signing the papers I bit the tip of my index finger with my extended canines and placed a drop of blood on the paper. Not long after the cut was already healed
"Is that all?" I asked him, he simply nodded his head as a huge smile appeared on my face
"Alrighty then, It was nice knowing you ... Goodbye!" I said standing up, while I walked away a hand grabbed my wrist preventing me from walking away.
"What is it? Did I forget to sign something?" I asked him puzzled
"Who told you you could leave?" He asked growling
"Well I signed those papers didn't i? So like Goodbye, Adios, Sionara!" I told him trying to free myself from his tight grim
"Oh those papers!" He said with a huge smirk plastered on his face
"What did you do?" I growled
"Those papers YOU signed without reading them, simply stated that you Victoria Miller rejects Andrew Clark as you official mate..." That's All? I asked myself
"And accept you position as future Luna and my mate!" He said triumphantly, a growl escaped my throat while my wolf was fighting me for control
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!" I screamed making my way to his desk where he sat, quietly praising himself
"Don't speak to me like that, I'm your Alpha." He stated with a loud voice
"I TALK TO YOU HOWEVER THE FUCK I WANT! I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY, IM LEAVING THIS PACK!" I screamed at him before turning around and shifting in his office. With all my strength I smashed through the the heavy metal doors that are suppose to protect the Alpha and looked back to see the look on his face, anger, rage, and a bit of excitement.
"GET THAT WOLF AND BRING HER TO ME, ALIVE IF YOU KILL HER PREPARE TO DIG YOU OWN GRAVE!" He called in his Alpha voice, immediately everyone's heads turned to me and started at me growling, snarling back at them which is not very lady like I ran down the stairs and broke the front wooden doors. It's been a while since I've ran like this in wolf form, feeling the blood pulse through my veins and the sound of my paws hitting the ground sent adrenaline through my body. Midway through my run the forest went silent, no birds, no wind, no rustling of squirrels just me and my breathing, skidding to a halt I perked my ears waiting for a sound. A faint rustling caught my attention, turning my head to a bush I stalked forward without making a sound, to my surprise it was only a little squirrel nibbling on a nut. It was so cute, I stared at it for a while wagging my tail happily, it looked back at me and dropped its nut scurrying away.
I'm not that scary! I thought to myself hurt
Your a wolf...Your pretty scary! My wolf said, looking forward I turned around to continue running but then, I felt a stinging sensation on my shoulder. Turning around I was greeted by a group of seven wolves and a human, letting out a nasty snarl I darted through the bush and headed deeper into the woods
What was that! I growled at my wolf
Wolvesbane! She called out, growling to myself I continued running deeper and deeper, I could feel my legs giving in as every step weakened me and forced me farther and farther away from my wolf. A couple of minutes later it was finally time and my legs gave in, frustrated I growled loudly and attempted to get up but failed miserably as more strength was drained from me. As my vision blurred the last thing I saw was a wolf standing Infront of me with a look of pride.
