Comforting silence

Prologue

 I was walking down the street on my way home when my phone started to ring. I had just gotten off of work. I was exhausted my roommate and co-worker Lillian didn't have a shift today. so I was bored all day luckily one of my favorite customers came in today. so It wasn't as shitty as it could have been. so when my phone started to ring I thought it was Lillian either telling me to grab something or just telling me some news, but when I looked at the caller id it said RanBro what was he doing up he should still be in bed. He wasn't streaming right now so why was he up let alone calling me. I answered his call curios but with my kind deminer still in place "Hello"

"Hey minty how have you been it's been a while" he laughed nervously at the end of his sentence.

why was he nervous maybe he didn't want me to yell at him for the time oh well "don't Hey, Minty me, what are you doing up you should still be sleeping " I know for a fact that he wasn't streaming and he never started his streams this early.

plus his friend who lived in the Uk also wasn't streaming. "Well I'm uh, well I'm finishing packing " there is was his nervous stuttering but why was he stuttering it was just me

I noticed I had stopped walking so I speed up moving toward my flat Lillian would be so mad if I wasn't home soon "well that's kind of why I'm calling you "

hm, why would he need to call me for something like that he's almost an adult "Wait what bro you do know that your almost 18 right you can do whatever you want" I was passing a convince store and decided to stop and grab some drinks for me and Lillian.
