Chapter 1

I was walking down the street on my way home when my phone started to ring. I had just got off of work. I was exhausted my roommate and co-worker Lillian didn't have a shift today. so I was bored all day luckily one of my favorite customers came in today. so It wasn't as shitty as it could have been. so when my phone started to ring I thought it was Lillian either telling me to grab something or just telling me some news, but when I looked at the caller id it said RanBro what was he doing up he should still be in bed. He wasn't streaming right now so why was he up let alone calling me. I answered his call curios but with my kind deminer still in place "Hello"

"Hey minty how have you been it's been a while" he laughed nervously at the end of his sentence. 

why was he nervous maybe he didn't want me to yell at him for the time oh well "don't Hey, Minty me, what are you doing up you should still be sleeping " I know for a fact that he wasn't streaming and he never started his streams this early. 

plus his friend who lived in the Uk also wasn't streaming.  "Well I'm uh, well I'm finishing packing " there is was his nervous stuttering but why was he stuttering it was just me

 "Packing? why are you packing where are you going " was he moving out was he visiting nana why else would he be packing.

 I noticed I had stopped walking so I speed up moving toward my flat Lillian would be so mad if I wasn't home soon  "well that's kind of why I'm calling you " 

hm, why would he need to call me for something like that he's almost an adult "Wait what bro you do know that your almost 18 right you can do whatever you want" I was passing a convince store and decided to stop and grab some drinks for me and Lillian. 

we both would need to take our meds soon "really I had no idea I thought I was a child " I could feel him rolling his eyes even from 5037 miles away " but I'm calling because I was wondering if you could pick me up and take me to Tubbo's place when I land " 

wait what he was coming to the Uk I was in my loft at this point and I almost dropped my phone "wait you're coming to the UK?!" 

I was stunned in front of my kitchen counter I could hear his laugh from the other side of the phone "Hahahaha, Yep I'm coming to the UK to visit you and my friends that live there" it had been 2 years since he had seen me it had been two years since I hugged him 2 years since I told him how I really was my wrists suddenly felt cold and I sent my phone on the counter turning on speakerphone. and I pulled my sleeves down "Mint you there ?" 

right I was still on the phone with him  I shook all of the nervous thoughts out of my head "Ya I'm here "I could hear Lillian coming down the stars "But ya I'll definitely come to get you, so you're going to be staying with tubbo then  " 

I heard Lillian walk in just as soon as my timer on my watch went off " ya I will be. But what was that noise "

 "Oh just a timer also Lillian is here if you want to talk to her" I moved to the medician cabinet finding both my and Lillian medicine 

"Oh Lil, how are you "good he didn't pay attention to the timer.

 I had found both mine and Lillian's medicine I handed her her favorite drink, peach tea, " oh thanks mint " I nodded at her " And I've been good 2 face what about you " I chuckled ever since ranboo got okay with letting her know that he was ranboo she has called him that. 

" oh I'm good you know about to get on a plane ride at like 6 in the morning by myself to a country I have never been to before but good " her face was shocked and she gave a nervous laugh before she asked her next question 

" So where are you going " all though his words came out nervous when he responded I could hear the excitement in his voice.

 " the UK " but Lillian's face was worried 

"Have you told him" she mouthed in my direction I shook my head, opened a water bottle, and took my meds "That so cool ranboo you better come see me while your here " 

" well minty is going to pick me up tomorrow why don't you just come with " 

" I wish I could 2 face but I have to stream tomorrow " she genuinely sounded disappointed

 "that's fine I'm gonna be in the UK for a while so I'll definitely come to see the flower "

 " ya well I'll see you soon ya "

 " definitely " I smiled at them they were more of siblings than me and him. 

I shook my head "stop that mint" I told myself " see you later little man " Lillian gave me my phone and left with her pills and tea " hey just text me all the information I need and I'll see you tomorrow ya "

 " ya I will I missed you mint " 

" I missed you too bye  "
