I rub my three month stomach looking in the mirror at myself. Today was my appointment and of course my mom want to come. I didn't want her to come at first but I guess I'll let her.
"Chels? You ready?"I heard my mom called my name. I sigh heavily grabbing my things and walking downstairs.
"Yeah I'm ready"I mumble. She grab her keys and purse walking to the door.
"After the appointment, I was thinking about us going to the baby store and checking out some stuff"my mom smiled.
Seems like it's just only her and markeyvius excited about the baby. Amber is also happy but Marilyn is still upset with me. I don't want her to be upset. "Ma, it's a bit early for that don't you think"
"Hell no. It's not early"she said. I shook my head as we pulled out the yard.
We finally made it to the appointment. There was a lot of females in the office either pregnant or getting a birth control. I sat down in the chair waiting for the nurse to call me in the back.
"You talk to Marilyn today?"my mom ask.
"No. I don't want to"I sigh rubbing my forehead.
"You need to. Y'all need to talk it out cause there is no reason for y'all to be arguing or mad at each other"my mom said.
"She's mad cause I became pregnant by mark. It's not her business...."
"Maybe she looking out for you chels"my mom stated.
"She need to look out for herself. Snupe ain't shit"I mumbled.
"Both of them ain't shit"
"Ms.Chelsy Parker"the nurse called me to the back. My mom followed me to the back where the room would be. I laid down on the soft couch waiting for the nurse or doctor or whoever. My patients are slim now.
"How you been Ms.Parker?"the nurse ask. Do she know me?
"I'm fine. Just fat and hungry"I joked.
"I know that feeling"the nurse nodded her head. "Okay let me get you ready so we can see the baby and how it's doing. Once we're done with checking the baby, the doctor will come in and check on you"
"Excuse me ma'am. When is her due date?"my mom ask.
"Her due date ain't till either February or March next year"the nurse replied.
"Ohhhhh I can't wait till he or she come"my mom rejoiced. The nurse smiled happily while preparing the machine and tv.
"Alright Ms.Parker, can you lay back for me?"the nurse ask. I laid back taking my phone out. I started to record the tv listening to my baby heart beat. "Here it is"
"Awwww my god look at them"my mom cooed. I shook my head at her on how loud she is. This why I like to come by myself.
"It have a great heartbeat. The placenta looks fine....."As I close my eyes, I can hear my baby heartbeat making me smile wide. I want to cry just hearing it.
Finally the nurse was finish looking at my baby. I stayed in the room waiting for the doctor. "I already know you gone plan the baby shower and gender reveal"I spoke.
"Yep. Already writin it down"my momma smirked. I shook my head at her laughing. "But like I said, please talk to Marilyn. This baby shouldn't be y'all downfall"
"I know momma"
