I finish curling my hair when I hear the doorbell ring.

I squeeze my eyes shut hoping it's Paige.

My dress sways as I run down the stairs.

When I open the door I see Paige in a beautiful long pink dress with her hair up.

"You look gorgeous!" I say smiling.

Paige giggles, "You look even better."

Maddie runs up behind her.

"Chloe! You look amazing!" She yells.

I grin and look in the distance.

I see Brandon getting out of his car. He winks at me.

"Chloe you alright?" Paige asks.

I nod slowly, watching Brandon as he makes his way over to me.

"Hi Chloe." Brandon says.

"Hi."

I keep staring at Him when Paige says, "So you guys ready to take some pictures?"

I nod and let everyone come in.

More of our friends come along with a few of Brandon's friends.

Mikey, and Zach.

My mom grabs her camera from her room and starts taking our pictures.

This doesn't feel right.

I fake a smile when my mom takes the last few pictures.

Once she is done I walk up to my room acting like I forgot something.

When I get up there I sit on my bed looking at the framed picture of Josh and I.

"Can I come in?" Paige asks standing in my doorway.

I nod and set the picture down.

"You're not happy." She states.

I pull my legs to my chest and dig my chin into my knees trying not to wrinkle my dress.

"You want Josh." She adds.

I just look at my shoes.

I sigh, "I don't know why I do, but I can't go on without having a thought of him."

Paige looks around my room, "It will get better. Even if you aren't with him the world will still be moving, everything will still be going on."

"He changed me. He made me a different person. I made him a different person." I look down and choke out, "I love him."

Paige looks in my eyes, "Then fight for him."

I look out the window and nod.////end of chapter 30
