The portal Raven created led them into a much different scenery. A scenery what Idalia can only describe as dark and hellish. There were strange bones around and the air felt heavy.
"Oooh, I don't feel so good." Garfield groaned, holding his stomach after going through her portal. Idalia smiled sympathetically, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"You'll be okay." She said reassuringly. Garfield smiled back at her.
"You give me strength, Dragon Mama."
"Can you two pay attention for a second?" Damian cut their moment short a bit jealously. He had a slight glare in his eyes.
"The crystal can only be touched by me." Raven said. "He may have escaped it, but he can't destroy it."
"I just hope that he left a trail of bread crumbs." Jaimie mumbled, looking around the hellish place.
Everyone followed Raven as she began leading the way to the crystal in question. Idalia couldn't help but think about what she heard Aunt Diana said when she was possessed. About her being....Valyrian? Whatever that was. It may be the key to knowing who her parents are. She remembered a dream she had when she was only 10 years old.
A man with hair as white as hers and eyes as violet as hers. He had the same necklace she wore. A circular three headed dragon, gold and red. His face looked young but his eyes held years in them. Like he had been through hell and back.
She never told Diana about the dream but he popped up every now and then. As if it were a signal. A sign for her. But for what? She didn't know.
"Hey, Ambrosia." She was pulled out of her thoughts when Damian spoke suddenly. She looked at him, seeing him stare at her as if he was trying to figure her out. "You okay? You're spacing out."
Idalia sighed inaudibly. "I...."
"Woah, thats a lot of lava." Garfield exclaimed in shock, making them stop and look.
The group could see the huge shrine Raven needed to get to but it was surrounded by Lava so hot that they could feel the radiation from where they stood.
