Pov: Bean

  This smell... it's not Tobias' scent. Why? Wasn't I sleeping with him? I woke and froze to find Su holding me. Where is Tobias? Why is she holding me!

"You woke up, Tobias had to participate in class, so I offered to sit out and hold you while you napped. I hadn't noticed your choker before it's cute," she hadn't hurt me in anyway or done anything to me, but still. I didn't like a single moment of this.

"You can put me down," I looked away, Tobias was drinking water as everyone was getting ready to head back to the locker rooms.

"Right," Su put me down and I got up. I dusted myself off and left to change.

  I didn't even mean to fall asleep, why would he just give me away to someone else?

"Bean, I have home economics next," Tobias came up to me.

  Why should I care? You gave me away.

"If you're ignoring me then I guess I shouldn't cook your lunch afterall," he held up two cans of salmon.

  I can forgive him, his cooking is worth it.

"You think you could make something with rice?" I couldn't stop my tail from flickering.

"We'll see," he stuck the cans into his pocket.

"It better be yummy," I started changing, he was looking away from me now. His face was all pink. Humans get that way too? How often do humans go into heat again? Tobias was already changed but I couldn't tell. His scent didn't smell any different. How can I tell?

PoV: Tobias

"Hey, what are you doing?" Bean has started smelling the shirt I was wearing. He was still half dressed, "You need to change."

"I can't tell," he was mumbling to himself and he suddenly lifted my shirt to grab my belt.

"Hey!" I grabbed his hands and moved him back in front of his locker, "What the hell are you thinking?"

"You're face changes color. But your scent doesn't," I quickly finish dressing him. He always got too distracted, "I can't tell when you're in heat."

"Tobias... what have you been doing..." Luka backed away from us. All the guys were staring, he wasn't paying any attention.

"I haven't done anything!" I snapped, "I swear, this is just a weird cat thing for him. Cats go into heat every 2-3 weeks. So to him it's normal. He doesn't understand, that's all."

"Pervert," Luka was seriously teasing!?

"Well, if that's the case you should explain it," the others guys had all quickly gotten dressed and were leaving.

"Bean," I turned to him, "Human guys don't have a heat or mating season. Girls have a heat once a month. Do you understand?"

"Once a month, okay," he grabbed his bag and left without another word.

"Dude, that was not clear enough," one of the guys shook his head at me and left.

  What the hell am I supposed to do? He's in a biology class, hell figure it out.

  I made Bean lunch, and we ate on the rooftop like we always did. When we went home I took him out for groceries like I promised, and then brought him home. I locked all my windows and doors this time so he couldn't get into my bed in the morning.
