PoV: Tobias

"Pst, Tobias," I heard someone behind the curtain, "Is Bean feeling better?"

"He's still sleeping," I replied as I checked under the sheet. Bean wasn't just asleep, he had reverted back into a human and was sound asleep on my chest, "But he's human again."

I must have fallen asleep, I don't remember him changing.

"I had no idea he could transform," it was Su behind the curtain. She came in with two bento boxes, "It's lunchtime, I thought he'd want to eat."

"Yeah, but don't come in. He's not dressed," I shut the curtain again and gently woke him.

"Why did you wake me?" He looked irritated as I woke him, but no where near as bad.

"You hungry?" I started dressing him and his ears perked up.

"Mmhmm..." he nodded as I buttoned his shirt and rolled his pant legs up the way he liked.

"Su brought you lunch today," I opened the curtain once he was dressed.

"Here," She handed him the bento box and some chopsticks, "I made Salmon and tempura shrimp for you."

"Shrimp?" He opened the bento box and stared at it for a moment. He set the chopsticks down and picked up the shrimp. And started eating.

"Um..." Su was watching him with a worried look. Bean had never used any utensils when he ate, it never bothered me. It was clearly bothering her, "Why not use the chopsticks?"

"Why? I can just wash my hands," he took a bite of the shrimp.

"How is it?" Su picked the chopsticks back up.

"It's good," he kept eating without another word after that. It was like when I first him...

He used to be this quiet around me too... Now he won't leave my side half the time. I reached up and gently brushed his hair back, he looked up at me before moving my hand away, his hair falling in his face again. Even human he still had whiskers.

Once Bean ate, the nurse made us go back to our next class. Bean stayed close to me, the entire time. As soon as we walked in, Hidaka got up. Bean was already starting to growl.

"Hidaka, sit down," the teacher spoke up, "Wait until the end of class to speak with Bean. I don't need anyone chasing a cat around anymore."

I can't believe that dog is just like Bean. I never expected to meet someone else, how many of their species are there?

PoV: Bean

I felt a gross feeling. That mutt was still staring at me. I knew there was something wrong with that street dog. What the hell does he want?

The sudden chime of the final bell startled me as everyone started getting up.

"Tobais, wanna hit the convenience store with me today?" Luka spoke up as a few kids started to leave.

"Sure, I don't have anything scheduled today," he was leaving.

I shoved everything into my bag and got up.

"Kitty!"

I jumped back a couple desks behind me as that mutt suddenly appeared at mine.

"He ran away," the dog looked around before noticing me.

I jumped to the desk behind Tobais and stuck near him.

"I thought I told you not to jump on him," Tobais stood between us.
