Another month has passed, and the dreams continued. It showed Izuku Midoriya training in the same abandoned school Izuku had first met the number one hero. His eyes were filled with determination and glory, though nothing happened after that.
Izuku kept on investigating the 'survivors', but they hadn't made a move after attacking all the labs. Izuku had a hunch that they stole the research and then attacked other labs to get equipment for the quirk boosting research. He thought that they were going to create the boost, though he didn't have enough evidence. He didn't even have proof on who they were.
Bakugo noticed the change of behaviour in his brother but stayed silent. He watched carefully and could always see the distant look in his eyes. He wanted to ask, but he didn't want to pressure him on telling him. If it was something important then he would've have told him.
It was Bakugo's day off and his group decided to join up and catch up. Izuku was coming with them since he needed to get out of the house. Because Izuku needed to return and borrow more books, he agreed to go. Both got ready and headed out to the train station.
"Bakubro!" Kirishima called out as he waved towards them. He was in a group of 5 including himself. The rest with him was Mina, Kaminari, Sero and Jiro. "Izubro you're here too!"
"It's nice to see you too Kirishima-kun." Greeted Izuku as he bowed. He turned to the others and did the same thing. "It's also nice to see you too Ashido-san, Jiro-san, Kaminari-kun and Sero-kun."
Mina laughed, "You're too formal, just call me Mina."
"Alright Mina-san." Izuku replied which made them all sweat drop.
Kaminari stated, "I can't believe you're Bakugo's brother now. Do we call you Bakugo as well? What do we call you?"
Izuku shook his head. "I kept my last name, though you can call me whatever you want. I don't mind."
"Then I'll call you broccoli boy!" Exclaimed the Pikachu as if it was a great idea.
Jiro sighed and smacked the back of his head. Kaminari was rubbing his head with tears in his eyes. "No. That's not a good idea. Just call him Takahashi or Izuku."
Kaminari pouted and concluded, "Fine, I'll call him Izubro like Kiri does."
"That's fine." Izuku nodded. "Though what are you planning to do today?"
Mina shrugged. "We would go to a café and talk. Though since you're here, you might want to do something. What would you like to do?"
"I would like to go to the library, that's all." Izuku answered with a smile. "You can do you're normal in the library right? But if not, can we go to the library so I can pick up some books then go to the café?"
"It's fine." Sero responded. "We'll go visit the library now then go to the café."
"Thank you Sero-kun!" Beamed Izuku with a wide smile that blinded the group around him. They were all squinting.
"Oi nerd," Bakugo called out. "Just don't take too long choosing the fucking books."
Izuku nodded. "Yes Katsuki."
Bakugo smirked and the whole group headed to the library. The Bakusquad sat down on a table to talk while Izuku quickly returned his books to borrow new ones. Looking through the selves, he found interesting books. He chose 5 books and borrowed them. Once he did, he told the squad, letting them know they could head to the café.
Walking there was filled with chatter while Izuku was smiling at the group. They seemed to be happy and cheerful. Bakugo also seemed to be having fun on their trip. The 8-year-old looked down at the books he had borrowed. All of them were for his studies, but there was one for his entertainment. It was a book about the LOV and the vigilante Hikari. He hoped that it would give him clues to why he was having the dreams and the connect it might have one the Survivors.
Reaching the café, they all sat a table and continued their conversation. There was laughter which made the freckled face boy smile but made sure to look at the book again. Reading the book, he found out about the life of Hikari was exactly as he dreamt it, but some of the details weren't in the book or his dream. It didn't really help, though for the connection about the LOV and Survivors, were a different story.
It seemed that the LOV was trying to boost quirks, though it wasn't powerful. The test run was 10 years ago when they attacked the summer training camp of class 1A. It seemed that it was a success and they tried to make the boost more powerful, though they were captured by the police. The only big figure after that was All for One, who was defeated by All Might when 1A went back to the USJ for their training.
During the attack, Hikari died as he protected the students and was revealed to be the quirkless boy named Izuku Midoriya. That all happened 2 years before he was born. Izuku thought that the Survivors might be the people who were in the LOV but didn't get caught. Naming them 'Survivors' as they survived the attack and not get captured. They might want to continue the work of All for One and the LOV, and they seemed to be smarter than to recklessly go head on. They were specialised in the shadows.
Izuku sighed as he closed his eyes shut along with the book in his hand. He glanced over to see that the group was still chatting, so he turned his head and looked at the time. It had just 3 hours past noon. He had been reading for at least 4 hours. For some reason he just had a bad gut feeling.
"Izubro, you finally finished with the book?" Kirishima questioned as all the attention was drawn to him.
"Yep." Izuku answered. "It was very interesting."
Jiro raised a brow. "Oh? What might it be about?"
"The vigilante Hikari and the LOV."
Jiro frowned. "I get the thing about Hikari, but why the LOV?"
Izuku shrugged. "It was in the same book, and it had details on the villain organization that killed the light."
"I can't believe that you're 8 yet read so thick books!" Mina exclaimed as she looked at all the books the kid had borrowed. They were all thick and tall. "If I was you, I wouldn't even look at it. I would just die reading the first page."
"Me too!" Kaminari added with a laugh.
Jiro teased, "You would die at the first word. You're dumb and I still wonder how you guys graduated."
Bakugo agreed. "You shitty extras fucking graduated, but I feel that you fucking cheated."
"That's mean Bakubro! Jiro!" Kaminari and Kirishima cried as Mina and Sero did something similar. They all faced the green-haired boy and said, "Izubro, tell us that they're wrong."
Izuku smiled and shook his head. "Sorry, but I can't tell you that. I don't know the answer myself, and I don't have enough information on this. Therefore, I can't say it."
"Izubro!" Kirishima whined as he looked at Bakugo's smug face. "Don't look so smug Bakubro!"
Bakugo rolled his eyes and leaned back. "I'm just stating the fucking facts shitty hair."
The red-haired male sighed. "My name is Kirishima, not shitty hair. My hair is the same as yours."
The other laughed at the comment while Bakugo growled. Suddenly, an explosion was heard from outside the café. The pro-heroes groaned. They were on a day off yet, it seemed that they had work to do.
All of them rushed out of the building with Izuku right behind. Once outside they reached the sight of terrified people and buildings destroyed. The crowd backed away from two people as heroes rushed in. the Bakusquad joined the heroes on the battlefield, leaving Izuku on the side-lines to watch.
