***Natalia's POV***

I woke up with a cold and dry drool on my cheek. Wow, I drool? Unbelievable. I thought.

"NATALIA! TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" yelled my mother from downstairs. "Coming!!" I yelled back.

Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars....

Oh! That's my phone! I fished for it under my pillow and checked the caller ID:

Sandra Hills

I answered it and yawned...

"Hey, San. What's up?"

[Where are you? I'm now here in the school. Meet me ASAP once you get here. I have some important news]

I rolled my eyes and laughed a little. Of course. Sandra is always the early birdy.

"Sure. Bye."

[Bye-bye!]

Toot toot toot

"Natalia!! Mom has been worrying nonstop! You have to get down here," my older sister, Jennifer(aka Jen), exclaimed.

"Okay, okay. Tell her to chill," I replied. She rolled her eyes and shut the door behind her.

******

(At school)

"Bye hon. Make sure to eat your sandwhich. It's your favorite. Nutella," mom reminds me.

"Okay, mom. Bye," I kiss her cheek and head out, slinging my backpack behind me.

I fished for my phone in my pocket and started calling Sandra.

Ringing.....

Ringing....

Ringing...

Ringing...

*BOOGSH*

"WTF?!"yelled the guy I bumped into.

"What's your problem?" I yelled back.

"FYI, I'm kinda in a bad mood today," the guy explained. He looked up and my eyes widened.

"K-Kyle?"/"N-Natalia?"

I gulped and looked down. I heard him sigh.

"Come on. I'll show you where Sandra is," Kyle said. He picked up my books and walked ahead of me.

I just sighed and wiped my tears away. I really, really, REALLY wanted to say sorry to him. I felt sooo guilty.

I tried catching up with him. As I was beside him already, I looked at him and noticed his nose was red. Wait....

Did he cry?

"Ummm....Kyle..I just want to say....ummm..." I started. I looked down and closed my eyes.

You can do this, Natalia.

"I-I just wanna say.....I'm sorry," I said.

He stopped in his tracks and turned me to face him. I was still looking down so he lifted my face up.

"It's okay. I know that I can't judge you. I know you like someone else. And that someone is Drew. I'm sorry for trying so hard so that you can love me back. I've been one selfish, self-centered, egostical jerkface. And I too, am sorry," Kyle explained.

We hugged right there in the hallway. Students stared at us like we were a couple or we were being too affectionate.

The heck I care! Whatever that's in their dirty little minds isn't true.

After the hug, we pulled away and I grinned at him.

"From now on, let's be friends," I said. He grinned and we walked, hand in hand to where Sandra was waiting for us.

I've got my best friend back.
