***Natalia's POV***

I couldn't shake the memory of what happened yesterday. Whenever I think about it, I burst into tears. One time, I was in my Algebra class. Our teacher told us to study this page so that after she would give us a test. I failed the test, as usual. I thought about what happened with me and Kyle so I sobbed. My classmates saw me and thought I was crying because I failed the test.

Ugh. I hate my life.

As I placed my books inside my locker, I heard footsteps coming to my direction.

Please let it be Kyle. I hope we can sort things out. Please. I thought.

"Hey, Talia," the voice said.

I looked at my side and saw....

Drew.

"Oh. Hey, Drew. What's up?" I said trying to sound cheerful. He just grinned at me and I smiled back.

"So I was wondering, maybe you could come to my party this Saturday? It starts at 8 to 11 pm. You could bring your friend. Just no family members," he said nervously.

I laughed. A party? Hmm...maybe I could forget about the incident yesterday if I just attend a party with friends.

"Sure. I'll be there. Where is the party being held at?" I asked him.

"At Jason's house. Do you want me to pick you up?" He asked me.

Jason was Drew's brother. Jen and Jason are really close so I bet she knows where he lives.

"Don't worry. My sister and him are close friends. I bet she knows where Jason's house is. Thanks anyway," I said, smiling at him.

"Okay. So I'll you later, Natalia," he says, walking away.

I smile and shut my locker door.

I'm going to a party. Wow.

KRRRIIINNGG!

"You are sooo lucky, Natalia! I mean you are invited to a party! By Drew! Are you excited? Well, boy am I excited! Maybe I'll see Chase over there," Sandra chatters excitedly.

"Can you just chill, San? You're acting like this is your first party!" I exclaim.

"It is my first party, you dum dum!" Sandra exclaims.

"So, you never experienced having a birthday party? Or a Christmas party? Huh?" I ask her. We both laugh at my little joke.

"That's not what I meant, Talia. I mean party with our fellow friends! We might even get popular. C'mon, Natalia. Don't tell me your not excited?" Sandra asks me, pouting.

"Of course I'm excited. C'mon, let's get our lunch. I'm starving," I explain, grabbing Sandra's hand and dragging her to the cafeteria.

I can't wait to go to the party!!!
