***Natalia's POV***
Me and Sandra were sipping smoothies at the, "Swirly Shop" at the mall and talking about, well, what normal teenage girls talk about.
"I just hate that girl! Why does she have to flirt with Austin like that? I mean, is she her girlfriend? I really wanted to tell her, 'Hey you, who do you have the right to cling your arms with Austin?' Ohhh she doesn't want to test me...."
I spaced out a little from Sandra's bickering about her crush, Austin Lopez. We saw him with this brunette and Sandra got so mad(or should I say so jealous) that I had to buy her a cheeseburger and an iced tea so that she could calm down. Also, I had to pull her all the way just so that she couldn't run away and haunt the brunette.
What are best friends for?
But also,I still couldn't believe what I heard yesterday. I can't believe Kyle was just using me! So that he could take revenge on me. Why Kyle?
Right from the start, I knew there was something going on with Kyle and Sandra. One day, Kyle said he loved me. Then on the next day, he has a different girlfriend.
I hate Niña! What did she do to Kyle?
But also, I'm confused. Am I.....*gulp*...
Jealous?
No, no that can't be. I'm not jealous...
Am I?
No, no, no, no! I am soooo NOT jealous!
"....and really she's such a female dog. I sooo hate her! Arrgh she just ruins my day. Hey, are you listening?" Sandra asks me as she raises her eyebrow.
"Yep. All ears," I said, sipping my smoothie and giving Sandra an 'I'm-getting-bored-here' look.
"Okay what's wrong?" Sandra asks me.
I sigh. Should I tell her everything? Should I tell her about the plan of Kyle to take revenge on me because I broke his heart?
"Well..it starts like this..." I started sipping my smoothie until there's nothing remaining.
"Aww my smoothie's all gone," I said, pouting.
"Wait, your smoothie was gone? Is that why your sad?" Sandra asks confusingly.
"No, no. Hold on. I'm just gonna throw this in the trash can," I explained, walking away.
Once I reached the trash can, I threw the can and started to head back to Sandra, but then I slipped on something. Everything was like in slow motion.
I waited for the tiled floor to come in contact with my body but it never came.
I opened my eyes and saw....
DREW! DREW KNIGHT!
Now I know why he's last name is 'Knight'. It's because he's my KNIGHT and shining armor...hays...
"Are you okay?" Drew asks me. My eyes widen and I stand up. Drew's hands never leaving my waist.
OMO! Spell AWKWARD.
"Ummm...yeah. I'm fine," I assured him.
"Are you sure?" he asks me,trying to make sure.
"Yeah. Really," I said finally.
"Glad I caught you there, princess," he said, winking after.
I felt my heart beating faster. My cheeks feel like they're reddening.
Oh stop it, Natalia. Your gonna look like a tomato head in front of Drew!
"Natalia! What's taking you so long?" Sandra exclaims. She looks at Drew's way and grins at me.
I slao her arm.
"Oh hey Drew. Whatcha' doing here with Natalia?" She asks Drew.
Ugh. I hate this girl!
"Oh hey, Andrea right?" Drew asks unsurely.
I cover my mouth to keep from laughing so loud. Andrea? Hahahahaha!
Sandra rolls her eyes and shakes her head. "No. It's 'Sandra'. S-A-N-D-R-A. Sandra," sge explains like Drew was three years old.
"Oh, umm..sorry," he apologizes. "Well, I better get going. Bye, Sandra. Bye, Talia," he says before walking away.
"Wow. I can't believe he mistakened me as Andrea. That's my sister's name. Do I look like her twin?" Sandra asks me. I laugh and shake my head. "No," I reply.
"Anyway, what happened? How did you two meet? Tell me everything! Spill!" Sandra exclaims excitedly.
"Okay. It started like this..."
