Magic is all around us. The land of AREGORIA was an amazing place; the smaller corners being some of the most beautiful.

The diamond people watched the goings on of the men that lived below them with such love they glowed. But what was the most unique, was of one little boy, out of all the little boys in AREGORIA, who stood out above the rest.

Niallyn, the King and high ruler of AREGORIA watched the boy be dragged by his mother, who was on the main human council, to the front door of a farmhouse where a small woman stood with her arms outstretched for the little boy.

The boy stood crying and screaming as his mother turned to leave. As all children, he didn't understand why someone he loved could leave him at a strangers house. But his mother said they were his "Aunt and Uncle".

Niallyn watched as the little boy looked around the farm house and could see that there was something new and strange about this place he couldn't quite place. He went into the house begrudgingly and watched as the door closed shut behind him with a click.

The aromas of cookies and spices from a home made curry and biscuits filled the air. A mix of cumin and cinnamon left a strange assault on his senses. He swallowed the water in his mouth and smiled tentatively at his aunt who was already unloading a large portion of curry into a bowl over grain and sweet potato mash. She set it on the table and helped the boy onto the chair, placing a lift under him that brought the boys belly button in line with the edge of the table.

"It's a little high, yes?" She snapped her fingers and the lift readjusted.

"You're a witch!" He whispered.

"No...I'm a Sorceress. We're much worse when angered than witches and we don't make herbal remedies. If you need medicine, drink water and lemon because most days a person is just dehydrated...pfft!"

The boy laughed loudly, the sound echoing like bells in the kitchen. The pots start to stir a little at the sound because it was the purest of magic. His aunt handed him a spoon and he dug into his meal. Dinner was served and he knew if he just rolled with it, he could be happy here.

Niallyn watched as the boy got full rather quickly. *Hadn't his parents been feeding him properly.* Retrieving a time piece from his right pocket, he looked over the boys past quickly. The time piece was silver and gold with turners and many ticking hands. It hummed and buzzed as it moved showing Niallyn what he wanted and sometimes didn't want to see. His sleek opal brow furrowing and his lips turning to a line of contention. *His parents best not retrieve him. He will be a lot happier with his Aunt and Uncle*. Niallyn nodded and stepped away from the time piece that had floated up in front of him. The boys parents fed him one meal a day because they were too busy. Hiring help was all good, but it was to an abusive maid, who at times seemed like the only example of love to the boy.

Niallyns own daughter and his many other children, were loved completely no matter what and he had upwards of twenty-six children. Most were adults and others like his youngest daughter still stayed close to her mother. Her mother would teach her how to be the embodiment of femininity, while later on her father would teach her how to be strong and how to be a warrior. For the Diamond women were strong warriors and always had been.

Niallyn, not wanting to see the boy harmed in any way started to fade into light particles concentrating on the place he most wanted to go. The farm.

The air was warm and crisp. The ground was winding down and going to sleep but he knew the ground would know when he walked upon it. Niallyn walked to the front door of the sorceress' home, who was already opening the large wooden door for him; a scowl on her face.
