emily prentiss-girls night

hello my lovlies so this fanfic i will try to make really good because i love emily lmao, anyways i hope you had/have an amazing day also this will be leaning more towards a female reader but still no she/her pronouns

"Anyone up for a girls night this Saturday if we don't have a case?" Penolope asks,a series of sures and of course!—Ran through Penelope's batcave in which you were hiding from the boys in.

~time skip until when work is down~

Tomorrow was your girls night "i'll pick you all up at 7?"  JJ asked as she offered to drive everyone to Penelope's apartment. Other than packing a bag for tomorrow you decided to relax on your day off.

To say the least you're excited for tomorrow you would be hanging out with not only your crush, Emily prentiss but also hanging out with your best friends. You packed in your bag essentials such as, emergency kits, makeup, snacks and some board games to pass time with. shortly after you then had dinner and went to bed as it was getting late.

You woke up at around 6 o'clock you made your breakfast usually being scrambled eggs and toast. You then made your way to the shower and washed your hair and body until it's clean. With the towel around your body you walked over to your wardrobe to pick out a cute outfit to wear you wore basic jeans and black singlet top

After a while you heard a knock on your door you opened it to me JJ
"you look great" -she says
"you too beautiful"
You guys complimented each other and hopped in the car to to see that you were the 1st to be picked up "right we are heading to Emily now"
"Sweet" you say trying to calm your nerves.. it's not like you haven't had a girls night before but you were still flustered ever since you actually admitted you had feelings for your co-worker.

you picked up Emily and started making your way to Penelopes apartment "so you guys excited" Emily asked
"I'm just happy we can finally get drunk without worrying about a case" JJ said jokingly
"Tell me about it" you replied
you guys finally made it to Penelope's apartment you open the door to see her looking gorgeous as always with her brightly coloured dresses.You all started playing board games and drinking wine together

~time skip~
Let's just say everyone was wasted, The most sober person in the room was probably JJ however she still not sober enough for her to drive us home so we decided that we would all just spend the night at penolopes.
I was currently laying down on the couch with JJ sitting on the single chair across from you Penelope and Emily were laying on the floor we were watching a horror movie. A few minutes went by before Emily sat up saying that her legs hurt she decided to sit right next to you. You weren't complaining partly because you got to sit next to Emily and that you were scared

Soon enough you heard JJ rolling around in a sleep in you looked at Penelope who is just barely holding on trying to keep her eyes open but eventually lost it and went back to sleep. Leaving you and Emily the only two awake, you carefully got up and went to the kitchen to get a snack careful not to wake anyone up then Emily walked into the kitchen. You were looking through Penelope's fridge to find some ice cream you put it on the bench, then pushing your self up to sit on the bench

"On a scale of 1 to 10 how drunk are you right now" Emily asked with curiosity
"I would say 10 but I sobered up a bit so probably an 8"
She nodded as she walked close to you and put her arms around your waist Resting her head on your shoulder a few minutes went by and you just let her rest her head there, it was calm and the silence was comfortable.You soon heard soft snores coming from the girl you turned your head to see that she was half asleep

You giggled at her antics and whispered "your so adorable" then put your  head back down to rest on Her shoulder A few seconds went by before you heard giggle "you think I'm adorable" you hear the girl resting on your shoulder say. Immediately taken back by this you turn to see the girl with her eyes open "shit I didn't know you're awake"  "it's okay" she laughed "...and I think your adorable too" she then kisses you...you felt like you were on cloud nine until you heard clapping form the door way you'd see penolope and JJ both tiredly looking at you too.you roll your eyes and take another scoop of ice cream.
