As we walked to school that morning I pulled Anika aside to talk to her about what Sienna had said the day before. Charli noticed that I was trying to talk to Anika alone so she walked a little faster ahead of us with her headphones in. "Sienna is starting to question everything." Anika started the conversation. "Question everything? What do you mean Nini? There is nothing to question." I am confused as to what she was referring to. "Oh yeah okay, let's catch up to Charli" Anika had sped off to stand next to charli. Anika is hiding something from me.
It was 4th period and I was alone. I usually sit next to Hayley and Cadance who were both obviously not there. I kept looking up from the desk in hope that one time they would be sitting next to me laughing but everytime i did they weren't. I ended up getting called to the office again but this time I was alone. I entered the office and they sat me down in one of the rooms. I heard the door open and two police officers came in. Woah what is happening right now? Have I done something wrong?
"Hi, you must be Isabella" The police officer bends down to shake my hand. "We are here to ask you a few questions about Cadance". This is weird but I agree and they sit down in front of me to start the questions. "Did you happen to call Cadance the day of the accident?" "Yeah i did" "But she didn't answer is that correct" Woah this guy barely even gave me time to fully answer. "Yes, but I called her again" "Hmm that's weird. We checked her phone and it says you only called once and she didn't pick it up." I swear she picked up the second time and talked to me. If I tell him that though, I might have to answer more questions and that seems like a lot of effort. "Yeah, I think I called her once and she didn't respond. I remember now sorry for the confusion." With that he continued asking questions until I was let go.
At lunch I met up with the rest of the girls to discuss why the police were here. All of them got questioned too. I was confused as to why they would question us if the death was suicide. I wasn't paying attention to what the girls were talking about but I noticed Charli and Maya walk off together. I excused myself from the rest of the group and followed them to the library. I walked in and watched Charli and Maya interact when I heard someone say my name. "Hey guys, what's going on?" I say watching them quickly look up at me. The bell had rung causing Maya to grab her bag and leave the library rushing to get to class. "What's up with her?" I ask "I think she's just confused as we all are '' Charli tries explaining. "Anyways, do you wanna jig with me and Nini?" I ask, smiling already knowing what her answer would be. "Definitely" She answers.
*At midnight*
I stood in front of her house like a crazy person but I needed her to know. I swiftly moved around the house till I reached her bedroom window and opened it allowing myself in. She was standing in front of the mirror and turned to see me standing by the window. "We need to talk."
