I woke up to turn charli's fan off. Honestly who leaves their fan on during winter, Crazy bitch. The moment i turn off the fan charli turns around mumbling the words "knew you would do that" but i just ignored her and got ready.
"Charli where the fuck is my shirt?" I hear Anika yell from her room. We are gonna be late and it's her fault. I gave no time for Charli to answer before I yelled back at her. "I don't know most likely where you left it fucktard". Even though i laughed after saying it i was still annoyed she was taking forever. After what felt like hours Anika finally was ready and we rushed out the door. We all ran to school which was a major mistake considering none of us were fit and we sounded like we just ran a marathon. " Remind me never to run again?" Anika declares tryna catch her breath. "Do you think we have time for a choof?" Charli managed to say as she acted as if she was dying after the run. Before I even got the chance to open my mouth Anika beat me to it. "Is that even a fucking question?". I didn't need to be asked twice before I ran to the bathroom to see if the other girls were waiting for us. The moment we entered the bathroom it was filled with all these year 7 addicts, so we pushed through them until we got to the last stall. "Took you long enough" Hayley says loudly causing me to look up at the 3 girls in front of me. "Yean well if it wasn't for Anika loosing her school shit we wouldn't be fucking late now would we" I answer back trying to sound annoyed till i look over at Anika who gives me an dumbfounded look and i start laughing. "Now enough talking who has a choof-" "Mine ran out yesterday" Charli finishes my sentence by mocking me. Cadance passes one to me and we all take turns smoking from the one vape, well except Maya who was standing next to Hayley and starting a conversation. As I was about to put the vape near my mouth I heard the bell ring for class so I threw a mini tantrum and left the bathroom.
After roll call Sienna and I left the classroom to join the girls standing in the middle of the foyer. Hayley, Maya and I left for our first period while the others stayed behind for a bit. I started walking to class with the girls until my ears started to ring giving me a headache. I really needed to sit down, I don't feel so good. I kept it in until Hayley bothered my thoughts by talking to me. "What do you think Isy?" Oh shit, I totally should have kept up with the conversation. I just nodded my head hoping that was an appropriate answer for the conversation. "Why are you nodding your head for you look stupid, Do you even know what we are talking about?" I looked her dead in the eyes to see if what I was hearing was right. No way has Hayley ever said something like that to me and meant it. But just by looking at her I knew every word she said was real. "Oh shut the fuck up would you, you are getting on my nerves". I didn't bother looking at them in case they were making fun of how annoyed I got. "Umm okay, Is something wrong Isy?" I didn't expect Maya to answer me but I ignored it to show them it didn't affect me and kept my head down until we got to the classroom.
Hayley was really pissing me off and she continued to do so during the 4 periods before lunch. At recess I had a break from her as Hayley and Maya went off to do their own thing leaving me to go meet the rest of our friends. Lunch wasn't much better either to start with before the genius John came up with an idea to cure our boredom. A water fight. We spent the entire rest of our lunch filling up water bottles and using them to pour on eachother. The best part was running from the teachers trying to call us up to the office for having fun. The rest of the day ended pretty quickly and by the time the bell had rung dismissing school for the day we parted ways with our friends leaving through the back gate. Although I didn't share my last class with Hayley I still wondered why she didn't say goodbye to us. I mean she did piss me off but I still wanted to say goodbye.
We were almost at the door to the house when Cadance texted Charli. I didn't want to be nosy and try and see what it said so I just continued walking till we reached the door. I swung the door open whilst blocking the doorway so the cats couldn't escape. I turned around to see Charli closing the door whilst trying to read out the messages from Cadance before Anika snatched the phone and called her. I didn't bother to stay behind and hear the conversation so I walked into my room and chucked my school bag on the bed. "Isy?" I heard my name being called so I went back into the living room to hear what Charli had to say. "Cady is worried about hayley. Something about her not being herself and walking home without Maya and Cady." Now that I thought about it, Hayley was definitely acting weird. She was rude to me for 2 days in a row now and it wasn't like her. "And what would I know about that? She probably has her period and wanted to get home extra fast." I tried to brush off the situation because I was still irritated by Hayleys choice of words towards me earlier. "I don't know, I mean you were with her the whole day so I thought you might have noticed that she was acting weird" Charli says trying to show me she isn't accusing me of anything. "Don't worry, we will talk to her tomorrow at school and see what's going on but imma text Elle and ask her for an update. '' I left the room to go to the bathroom. I never got a response from Elle which made me stress a little but I knew everything was gonna be okay.
It was 2 am in the morning and I was watching tik tok on my phone. I looked over at Charli to see if my phone was too loud but she was fast asleep. I look back at my phone and see someone has messaged me. I half opened the message and noticed it wasn't important, I almost left the app but I saw a random number in my phone being in the recently received section. I open the messages and realize its Hayleys number. I looked over all the messages and started to freak out. As quietly as I could I opened the bedroom door and rushed to Anika's room. To my surprise she stared at me as I opened the door stepping into the bedroom. I was so confused as to why Anika would be awake at this hour until my eyes finally reached the reason. She was taking drugs again. I mean it's really no surprise at all, I can't remember the last time I saw Anika sober. "Isy what's wrong?" Anika said bluntly, because I'm interrupting her mini party. "These messages Nini!! Read them." I closed the door and ran to her bed shoving my phone into face, when she grabbed it and started looking at it. "Wtf have you done isy. It's alright i know how to erase it from your conversation history" She said tryna stay calm after mumbling the first sentence. She quickly did all the gizmo shit and erased the conversation and handed me the phone back. "Done now go away and let me do my shit" She complained waving her arms in the direction of the door. I still had so many questions but I could always ask tomorrow, so I slowly turned around and started making my way to the door. I stopped walking as I heard her speak up. "Also isy, you need to forget about this ok? Like it never happened.". Something is wrong, she never talks like this unless it's serious. I couldn't handle everything and just walked out the door back into my room.
I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't. She kept talking to me again, whispering sweet lullabies in my ear as I cried myself to sleep in fear.
*In the morning*
I woke up surprisingly happy this morning. So I did the same thing I had been doing the past week and got ready for school. On the way to school we all made jokes and laughed our faces off until we reached the bathrooms. The girls weren't at school which confused me but after the phone call with Elle yesterday i ignored it. "There is no roll call this morning, we will all meet in the Hall for an emergency assembly" I hear over the loudspeaker. "What a fucking waste of my time" Ughh why today out of all the days. The bell rings, so we end up leaving the bathroom heading towards the hall making fun of all the teachers pulling a sour face. I look around following Anika and Charli to our seats whilst spotting the rest of our friends 2 seats in front. Why isn't Sienna here? I saw her this morning on the way to the bathrooms. I sat down and played with the edge of my seat. It's all your fault.You did this. It's all your fault. "That's fucking bullshit miss!" Charli yells pointing her finger at the teacher on stage and running out the doors to the basketball courts. Me and Anika got the memo real quick and followed her outside. "Sorry did she say Hayley as in Hayley Cheal?" I say quickly hoping no one realised I wasn't paying attention to the assembly. "Yes Isy Hayley Cheal '' I turned around and saw the teacher that was once standing on the stage now in front of me. "What do you even mean miss? What about her." I yell starting to get frustrated with not knowing what the fuck is going on. "Isy.. Hayley passed away last night. Um she commited suicide" I didn't let her continue talk before i was swearing my ass off. "What the fuck do you mean passed away? I was with her yesterday and she was fine." This is all bullshit. There is no way she can be dead. Suicide really Hayley would never.
