I smiled as I saw Abigail and the others come off the plane. My wolf was on a rampage, howling and jumping around.
'Abby's here! She's here!' She hollered with a big wolf grin on her face. 'Yeah, yeah. Don't get too excited, she might not even remember us.' I said rolling my eyes. She scoffed.
'Don't be so negative.' She blocked me out. I tightened my grip on my suit case and pulled the sun glasses closer to my eyes. As soon as Abigail and the others walked away I followed them. They didn't seem to notice me until their loud talking became whispers. I slowed down and stopped to sit down so they wouldn't find me so suspicious. I opened my suit case and grabbed my phone. I pretended to text. I slowly looked up, my eyes meeting Abigails. I put my phone away when she leaned down to my level.
"Why are you following us?" She asked glaring at me. I smirked, I was right she doesn't remember me. I crossed my legs and folded my arms.
"Seems like little Ms.Abigail doesn't seem to remember me." I chuckled. One of the guys, I assume to be her mate, grabbed her shoulders and placed her beside him.
"And who the hell would you be?" He growled at me folding his arms. I chuckled again and stood up.
"None of your concern." I said before grabbing my stuff and leaving. My wolf stopped me. 'What the hell are you doing?!' She yelled trying to get me to turn around, but I just kept walking. 'I can't get Abigail yet, she's too protected.' I said and blocked her out. If I'll be able to get Abigail, safe with the Alpha, then I should get her at the right time.
After I saw Abigail disappear I went to the pack house to tell the good news. 'What do you think the Alpha will do?' My wolf, Clara asked me. I shrugged, 'We'll just have to wait and see.' I replied. I drove into the drive way of the pack house. In our pack, we only have 15 members. Yeah, we're short on members, but we will recruit.
I walked into the Alphas office and closed the door. "Good afternoon, Alpha." I bowed. He nodded, "Take a seat, Madeline." I sat down and crossed my legs.
"I have some good news," I smiled at Alpha Max. He looked up and smiled back, "And do we have bad news?" He arched his eyebrow. "Well... I wouldn't say bad. They're just half bad?" He tilted his head in confusion. I sighed.
"I found Abigail, but she found her mate." He growled as I said "mate". Yes, Alpha Max is in love with Abigail, how may he know her? Well it has to do with her mother.
Not too long ago, Abigail's mom left home. Her husband has been abusing her, so she came to us. Abigail's mom didn't have any where to stay, and since she was on our land and also a rogue we had only one condition if we let her stay. We would have to kidnapp her daughter, Abigail. The second Abigail's mother showed him a picture of her, his eyes lit up. It was love at first sight. I knew Abigail a long time ago when she was just two years old. We became best friends when I was five. We slowly parted when I was around my teens, that's when she moved away. Such a pity she doesn't remember me.
"So, what's the plan?" I asked leaning forward, closer to Alpha Max. He took a deep breath and shrugged. "Make one." He said before going back to his paper work. I leaned back into my chair, "Alpha, if I'm going to get Abigail, I need your help." He turned his attention back to me.
"Fine, write her a note saying.. that her mate needs her to meet her at a park at sun down." He said looking at me with a stern look. I flinched, "Uh, okay. What are we going to do with her mate?" I said arching my eyebrows.
"Kill him."-
