Chapter 15

Madeline's P.O.V.

I groaned hearing birds whistling songs. Eventually I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. "Carson..." I mumbled to myself remembering him from last night. If I hear or say his name I get shivers down my back. 'I can't stop thinking about him...' Clara sighed. 'Me either.' I agreed with her then I blocked her out. I brushed my teeth and took a shower.
"Hey sleeping beauty." Abigail greeted me with a smile and a hug. I chuckled, "Ha, very funny Abigail." I smiled back at her and took a seat at the table. "We're making breakfast, want pancakes?" Carson said asking me with grin. Oh my gosh! He can cook?!
"Um yeah of course." I said nodding at him. He added another batch of pancake mix onto the pan. I turned to Abigail.
"Ah.. now I get it." Abigail said staring at Carson and me. I gave her a confused look, "What do you get?" I asked her. She smiled at me.
"You two.. are mates."

"Can you explain this to me one more time?" I asked Abigail blushing. She laughed. "Okay, Carson doesn't seem to notice that your his mate because he's in love with someone else." She said the explained the 5th time. I sighed sadly, "Who can he be in love with?" Abigail tapped her finger lightly on the table. "Maybe someone he met here?" She said biting her bottom lip. I sighed again, "But you guys were only here for a few days. He couldn't just met someone here and then fall deeply in love with them in just a few days.." I said tightening my grip on the side of the chair. "Well.. maybe it's me? I mean there is only me and you. I've stayed with this pack for a while.." Abigail said giving me a curious look. Why would Carson fall in love with the Alphas mate? "I don't mean to be like this, Madeline. It's just my theory." She said trying to reason with me. I wasn't mad at Abigail, I was just...shocked that she would say that.
"Yeah, it's just your theory." I said nodding my head and closing my eyes. She sighed and stood up, "Come with me." She said grabbing my arm. I did what she said while she dragged me.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked while she opened a door. Abigail moved to the side and looked at Carson. I blushed when he looked at me. "Do you need something, Luna?" Carson asked looking at Abigail. I frowned.
"I need you to get up, Carson." She ordered him in her Luna voice. I flinched and looked at her with a shocked expression. She's never used her Luna voice.
"Now stand next to Madeline and grab her hand." Abigail ordered once again smiling at me. "Abigail," I growled at her hiding my hands behind my back. "Do it, Carson." She said giving us a evil smirk. I groaned and let my hands free.
Carson held my hand and stood right next to me. I felt tingles. I looked at Carson, 'Mate!' My wolf howled. Carson turned to me and then engulfed me into a hug.
