The Enemy Is My Mate (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 3

"Hey, I'm Eddie." a boy with dark brown hair and brown eyes introduced himself while sitting next to me. I smiled "I'm Abigail but you can call me Abby." he smiled back at me.

We started to talk, then a guy started to call him, he put his hand up signaling him to wait, "Sorry, I got to go to practice, but I'll talk to you later." he said getting up and shaking my hand. "What do you play?" I asked standing up to face him. "I play football," he gave me a charming smile, "You can sit with me and my friends at lunch if you want to?" he suggested. I nodded and he gave me another charming smile before jogging back to the field. 'You can't fall for two boys.' Flare said rolling her eyes 'I'm not.. ' I replied back. I blocked her out for a bit, I didn't want to start drama.

"You seem...  Interesting. " a girl with dirty blonde hair with light green eyes said smiling at me. I smiled back, "Abigail, but you can call me Abby." I took my hand out wanting her to shake my hand, but she ignored it and gave me a tight hug. "Jessica." she replied letting go of me and smiling at me once again. She seems like the type of person that's happy and bubbly. "I noticed Ed was talking to you." she sighed looking at the football field where Eddie was, "Please don't tell me there's fans for him too." I frowned looking at her, she chuckled.

"No, but he is a huge player. "

The gym teacher blew her whistle signaling for everyone to enter the locker rooms. I got up and walked with Jessica. "Hey, you can sit with me at lunch if you want?" she asked nudging me in the shoulder. I gave her a small smile.

"Eddie already asked me, but maybe we can sit all together?" She nodded while opening the door for the locker room.

We headed to the lunch room to eat and sat at Eddie's table. There was so much football players there jumping around, some even threw food. "Hey, Abby."  Eddie said while sitting next to me.

I smiled, "Hi Eddie, I brought Jessica." Jessica waved at Eddie and he waved back. It was quiet for a while until I saw the girl at P.E again, the "leader".

"Hey baby," the chick said bending over to Eddie to peck his lips I awkwardly sat there, watching them kiss for like five minutes. Eddie smiled at the chick and looked at me, "Oh, sorry this is Veronica." he said placing one of his hands on her waist. Jessica and I smiled at Veronica sweetly, "Oh I remember you guys.. this morning." she said grinning and giggled at us.

"Yeah, you were telling me to back off of Jason right?" I smiled looking at her and Eddie. "Veronica, you're still into him?" Eddie asked sadly looking at Veronica standing up, her eyes grew wide and nodded "I still love him, but I didn't mean to hurt your friend. I was jelous that he would actually talk to her, he would never talk to me."

Eddie growled at Veronica, "I, Eddie Harris, reject you as my Mate." he sighed and grabbed his back pack before leaving the cafeteria Veronica's face was priceless she glared at me and walked away.

Did that just happen? I turned to Jessica,  she was smiling but she was shocked too. "She's going to destroy you."
