A storm rages outside as a very young Rebekah laid in her bed, terrified of the storm that boomed and shook the tiny cottage from outside. She sniffled and cried softly as a young Klaus walked over to her to comfort her. "Hush now. It's just a storm. Don't be afraid, I won't let it hurt you." He said softly as he held her hand. He turned and got up, leaving to go and grab a small wooden toy.

"Nik, don't go." Rebekah cried out softly as she sat up slowly to look at her brother.

Klaus returned with a small wooden toy. "I carved it for father. It's a brave knight." He laid it down next to her, watching her take it. "Now you can be brave, too."

She looked at it and smiled softly, looking at him again. "Will you stay with me, 'til the storm ends?"

He laid his hand on hers, squeezing it softly. "I will always stay with you, Rebekah. No matter what."

The small girl smiled up at her big brother as the storm continued outside, her eyes slowly closing as Klaus watched her with his own small smile.

The three siblings stood against each other in a standoff while they were trapped inside the cemetery. Klaus gripped the white oak stake, glaring at his siblings, while Elijah gripped Papa Tunde's blade. "Rebekah!" Klaus yelled, eying only his sister.

Elijah lifted his chin. "Walk away." He said to his brother, standing in front of his sister protectively. "Leave us now." He said to Rebekah.

Rebekah breathed in, her hands in her pockets. "I can't. I'm stuck here." Her voice was filled with anger and fear. "Elijah, he has the white oak stake." Her nostrils flared a bit as she took a deep breath in.

Klaus lifted the stake, pointing it in her direction. "I brought it for you, sister."

"Get out of his sight. Your presence here only serves to anger him." He started towards Rebekah, before his attention towards Klaus. "Leave him to me now." He kept his eyes on his brother as Rebekah hesitated for a moment before she vamp sped away. "I am asking you, brother to brother--we end this nonsense now."

"You would side with that traitor." Klaus growled, as he took a step forward.

"I am not choosing sides, but I will not allow you to hurt our sister."

"We cannot leave this cemetery, Elijah. How long do you think you can defend her?" Klaus asked before he vamp sped away, but is stopped by Elijah easily caught up with him, blocking him.

On the other side of the cemetery, Rebekah stood in a tomb on the phone with Marcel as she updated him on what had happened.

Elijah sighed, and raised his head. "As long as it takes, by whatever means necessary."

"Do whatever it takes. Just stay alive. I promise you, I'll get you out of there." Marcel said on the other line of the phone.

Rebekah looked out of the tomb, searching for her brother. "I've never seen him like this before. He's out of his mind with rage, up all night howling one obscenity-laced tirade after the next. He's going to kill me."

"Alright, stay as far away from him as you can."

"That's a brilliant strategy. But, given that that dead bitch Celeste has trapped us in here 'til moonrise, my options are somewhat limited."

Marcel sighed and ran a hand down his face. "I'm not leaving you in there. Davina will find a loophole, get you out early, then we can all go together. If Klaus comes after us, we will take him on one hell of a ride."

Rebekah shook her head, tears filled her eyes. "I lived for centuries looking over my shoulder, ready to run at a moment's notice. Am I to go back to that?"
