You run as fast as your little legs can take you, winding down hallway after hallway, laughing joyfully as a man chases after you."Come here! No, not down there!" He whisper screams at you, his teeth gritted as fear and irritation contorts his older looking face.
You, being only six, merely laugh in response while you zoom down the halls. You're growing tired, but the adrenaline rushing through your veins keeps you awake and energized as you continue running down different halls, trying to lose the man that's chasing you.
A room opens up to your right, catching your immediate attention as you watch the doors slide apart. Your bright eyes widen, and you can't help but wander into the room.
The sound of odd, mechanical-like breathing fills your ears as you enter the large space. You ignore it, being too interested in the room itself to care about the sounds within.
The man who was chasing after you must have finally lost you, because he hasn't caught you yet.
A large, black chair sits in the middle of the room, causing you to tilt your head in confusion. The chair is turned away from you, so you're unable to see who - if anyone - resides inside of it.
Curiosity moves you forward as you wonder of who could be in the chair. You take one last happy stare at the room before bolting towards the chair. A giddy giggle escapes your lips as you run up to the chair.
You close your mouth, pouting while staring down. You want to sit in the big chair, but it seems like someone has already beat you to it.
You glare down at the black boot before your eyes trail up the leg and chest, and then meet with a helmet that's staring right back at you.
The breathing seems to be coming from him, and you quite like the sound of it. It's oddly relaxing to you.
You tilt your head at the masked man before laughing happily. "Up, up." You raise your arms above your head, doing a grabbing motion with your hands as you bounce on your toes.
He appears to tilt his head at your behavior, until he slowly reaches out to you and lifts you up by your waist. You let out another shrill giggle as you reach for the buttons that are at the chair.
"No." A low voice vibrates from behind you as the man pulls you towards him, taking you away from all of the glowing buttons and small switches.
You fling your head around, eyeing the masked man with confusion as your head tilts. He smiles at the cute action, resting your feet on his thighs as he keeps a firm grip around your waist.
You stare at his helmet, confused as to how he spoke. Glowing buttons on his chest catch your attention. You go to grab at them, but are interrupted by that same voice.
"No." His voice makes your head immediately snap up to his helmet as your eyes widen.
Your brows furrow as you question how he's speaking through the layer of metal. Your hands plop on either side of the oddly shaped helmet as you examine the shiny, black metal with a puzzled expression.
