Mated To The Alpha.....SHIT!!!

Chapter 7

This has to be punishment for something. I attempted to recall anything I've done in the past that would cause such a horrible thing to be happening right now. On top of my brother being able to miss this. I'm suck alone at dinner with the wonderful Alpha of my pack and of my mates ( please note my sarcasm.) This couldn't be any more awkward or suck-ish. Sitting at the table in the Alpha's, my mother and father on either side of me, Tony right across between his parents and the Alpha of Blackmoon and his Luna at both ends. Ugh I wish i could knock that smirk right off of his perfect lips.

" you think my lips are perfect huh" Tony mind links to me.

"Get out of my head! Gosh ever heard of privacy?" I mind link back.

"You look so cute with your nose all scrunched up but you shouldn't frown so hard, those forehead crinkles can become permanent you know." He snickers slightly. It's taking everything within me to not throw this steamed carrot at his face!

" I'm so glad you all could be here. My beta and I are ecstatic about this alliance between packs!" My alpha says. I roll my eyes, earning a curious look from Tony.

Tony's father smiles slightly "As am I, this will be grand for both parties involved. Our duty to keep our people safe has been heighten with the resent events." His eyes held another meaning, which my father and alpha seemed to understand, even my mother slightly nodded.

"Well I'm glad that we're all here for an evening full of delight!" My Luna, Mrs. Jessica Sterling smiled. She was such a sweet lady, I wonder why the moon goddess stuck Her with such a crap load of a mate.

Tony chuckled, guess he was listening on my little inner conversation. I smirk slightly and focus my attention back on my Luna.

My mother smiles wide "indeed! Please excuse the absence of my son, he was just so.. Unsettled with the move, we thought it was best if he stayed home." My mother explains

Ha! Unsettled, more like stoned off his ass in the woods somewhere, but that's none of my business. I turn to look at Tony's mom as she gazes with a wistful look in her eye. I must say she's beautiful, just like my mother but hopefully less plastic.

" Annie dear did you hear me?" I looked to my Luna. " oh sorry I must have been dazed out, excuse me Luna"

She gives me a wide grin " oh that's alright hun, I just asked how your first day was?"

I refused to look at Tony, I heard my mother inhale sharply and I mentally rolled my eyes: "It was well for the most part Luna. Sad to say i didn't finish out the day, I had a stomach thing so I took off." I lied flawlessly. I turned to Tony when he laughed audibly.

"A stomach thing? Must have been all those nerves of a new school huh? People being mean to you yet short stack?" He smirk. Oh if looks could kill.

I graced him with my best sarcastic smile " No not yet, why? Are you afraid I'll end up like you? With my hand as my best friend?" Boom. Shots fired, bring it.

He snarled at me "You listen pup.."

"Or what? Big bad wolf gunna pick on me?" I smirked

"You're playing with fire cupcake I'd stop now if I were you." He mind linked to me. Before I could muster a reply my alpha cleared his throat and sent a daring glare my way, eh wouldn't be the first.

" Annie! How dare you speak in such a manner to our guest! Apologize at once!" His alpha tone seeping through, I had no choice but to obey.

I faced Tony with my head bowed "Sorry Alpha, sorry Tony." I mumbled. I didn't dare look tony in the eye. I heard his growl deep.

"We were joking she was fine." Tony defended me. I looked from the corner of my eye as my alpha waved it off dismissively. I seen tony getting ready to blow up so I mind linked him.

"No! Drop it it's fine, I'm fine I was wrong chill" he sent me a worried glance saying we'd talk later and all I could do was discreetly nod.

See just as I expected dinner flipping sucked.
