Chapter 5

We came to a sudden stop far into the forest. Fresh spring flowers in bloom, the glow of the sun reflecting over the lake that lays so peacefully. I see Tony lay down and Sammy follows to nussle into her mate. His sent overpowering me sending me to a state of bliss. I'm slipping up, I've known him for a few hours and he has me feeling things I promised myself I wouldn't ever do. Not after what happen.

I feel a wet tongue hit my fur and I look at a grinning Mark. -this is perfect mate.- Mark says -amazingly perfect alpha- Sammy purred. I internally growled, we only have one alpha and he's a-..breath Annie breath. -let's go back the sun is setting- Tony mind linked and stood as did I. We took off in a sprint past the tress and wild life we encountered. Once we got back to the car i took my clothes in my mouth and went behind a tree to change. When I was finished I went back around to see Tony leaning against my car. "Such a shame I was hopping you'd change back infront of me." He said looking my body up and down. I rolled my eyes and gave him the finger.

"Kiss my ass Alpha." I said sarcasticly. I heard a growl "don't test me little mate, know who's in change." I just rolled my eyes and got into the car, not gunna let super alpha ruin our day.

When we got back on the main road I headed to the school so Tony could pick up his car, it was almost undown, the sky had turned a purplish orange. "Wow didn't know we were gone for so long." I commented. "Yeah but it was worth it getting to spend time with you." Tony said and put his hand on my thigh sending sparks up my leg, I swerved a little. "Christ! Are you trying to get us killed." I stammered out only to earn a chuckle from Tony.

When we pulled into the lot Tony got out to get his car and I checked my phone. 37 text..all from mom, dad, max and Jadylen, my best friend. "Oh fuck." I sighed I'm going to get my ass handed to me when I get home. When I looked out my window I seen Tony's car pulled in the park next to mine. He hopped out and came to my window. "Today was amazing Annie, just being with you." He gave me a soft smile. They way my name rolled off his tongue did something to me inside that I oddly enjoyed, I shook off the feeling. "Yeah today was nice." I replied with a smile. My phone buzzed, my mom was calling. I looked up at Tony then back at my phone then up again. I slide across to answer and looked Tony in the eye the whole time.

"Hi mom."

"ANNIE! WHERE IN THE HELL ARE YOU!!I TOLD YOU TO BE GOOD ON YOUR FIRST DAY!!! AT LEAST THE FIRST DAY AND YOU VANISH WHAT THE ACTAUL HELL!" I pushed the phone away from my ear for the load screaming, Tony just stood there slightly chuckling.

"Mom I was out with uh..a friend I made today" I said calmly. I looked into his eyes and a flash of hurt passed through them. I didn't know how to respond so I looked away.

"Get your ass home now! The alpha of out neighboring pack is visiting and the alpha of our pack has invited our family to attend the dinner along with your father." She stated, she was still angry, her perfectly blonde hair was probably in a ruff, I donut it though, my mom was perfect.

"What do you mean? We are having dinner with two alphas and ours is one of them?!" I started to panic. My door opened and Tony wrapped his arms around me.

"Honey what's wrong?" He asked in a frantic voice. I was too focused on my mom's response to answer him.

"Yes dear we are and you'll be there. I'm sorry but it's time you grew up and moved on." She said with a sigh.

"Whatever." I mumbled and hung up. The chills down my spine reminded me that I was wrapped in Tony's embrace, I pushed him back lightly. " you're family is coming to my pack house for dinner." I stated dryly.

Tony smiled "well this is fantastic!" I rolled my eyes. Yeah just fantastic.
