Three years. That's exactly how long it was. She couldn't believe herself that after three long years she is back in Hawaii. She looks slightly different but she knows that deep in her heart that she feels different. She is no longer the girl with the shattered heart.
She can't help but take a deep breath and try to smell the Hawaiian air. Well, technically she still can't seeing as she is still inside the air conditioned airport but what the heck. This is the closest she had been to the sea in three long years. This is the closest that she had been to her family, her friends and him.

Sophia Cole left Hawaii three years ago. She had a pretty normal life, a happy family and a group of amazing friends that had been with her since middle school. She had to leave her family, her friends and her entire life behind and jump on a plane to Washington because of a guy, Drew Adams.
No. They weren't together and he didn't break her heart, at least not intentionally. She just knew that he will never feel the same way about her.
Drew Adams is one of the most popular guys since middle school. No, its not because he looks like a Greek god. He was just simply charming and smart and funny. He is the guy everyone wants to hang out with and who can make every girl do that girlish giggle with his witty remarks and cool views about life.
This is not a story of two drop dead gorgeous people. This is not about the school nerd and the jock who falls for her. This isn't about the good girl who falls for the bad boy. This is a story of love, life, friendship and everything in between.
