Ethan's POV

Twister. It had to be fucking Twister. The one time I joke about an idea for an Unus Annus video and Mark thinks it's the greatest idea in the universe. Me and my big mouth.

It wouldn't be so bad if my chest didn't explode into a million butterflies every time I was near him. My entire mind just screams for him to pull me into his arms and I have to pray that my eyes don't give me away with how I look at him. And now I was about to be over and under and all over him on a small polka-dotted mat. To make matters worse, our friend Amy wouldn't be here. So we'd be all alone. Just me and him. He and I...fUck. I can only hope I don't make a complete fool of myself. I'm so frikin awkward sometimes.

"Ethan, buddy?" Mark said from behind the bathroom door. "You alright in there?"

I smiled. He always jokes about despising me. But he could be a real sweetheart when he wanted to be. I looked up at my reflection. The cold water I splashed on my face hadn't helped much with getting rid of the red in my cheeks. But I couldn't hide in here forever.

"Yeah, I'll be right out" I replied. I grabbed a nearby towel and patted my face dry before making my way out the door. "Woah-" I stopped in my tracks as soon as I stepped out almost running into Mark. His face was less than an inch away from me. I was expecting him to back away. But he didn't. He just smiled as his warm brown eyes looked into mine, then he chuckled.

"You sure you're okay?" He asked still smiling. "You've been acting kind of off since you got here".

I nodded. "I'm fine" I said in a meek voice.

"If you say so" he said walking down the hall into the livingroom. I followed after him and watched as he pulled out the Twister mat from it's box. That dam Twister mat.
"Okay" Mark sighed. "Lets get this show started!"

I nodded and walked over to the opposite side of the mat while he set up the camera and hit record. We did an unscripted intro, like always, and before I knew it the game was starting.

"Right hand yellow" Mark announced after spinning the spinner. He placed his right hand on a yellow spot. Mark slid the spinner over to me and I flicked the spinner.

"Left foot green" I giggled. I was already getting nervous. My hands were getting all sweaty.

The game went on like normal. "Right foot blue, left hand green, left hand back to yellow, left food blue," ect. Eventually I ended up in a crab position right next to Mark.

When Mark spun the spinner this time, things went from 0 to 100 real fast. "Left hand red, okay..." He started reaching over me until he was hovering just above me. His hand landed on red and he let out a quiet and low groan.

"Hello there" I giggled out of nervousness. Our faces were just inches apart again.

"Hi" Mark spoke in his deep voice. I could feel my whole face start to go red. "You think you can reach the spinner from here?" He asked not breaking eye contact.

"U-um, maybe," I stuttered. My heart was pounding against my chest. I leaned to one side to get closer to the spinner when my hand slipped. I gasped and clung to Mark, bringing him down with me as I crashed to the floor. I let out a laugh and instinctively rested my hands on his back. He burried his face in the crook of my neck and bursted into a fit of giggles. I gasped when his warm breath brushed against my neck.

Mark picked his head up with a slight look of concern. "You alright?" He asked. He started to lift his weight off of me when I clung to his shirt.

"I-I'm fine" I stuttered. "I'm..." My eyes landed on his lips. Then everything fell silent. Neither of us moved an inch.

"Ethan?" Mark whispered. His soft eyes met mine and I practically melted Into them.

"Yes?" I whispered back.

He didn't say anything though. He hesitated, then brought a hand up to tuck my hair behind my ear. I leaned into his loving touch. When I opened my eyes again his face was even closer. Our noses could brush against eachother. Something came over me in that moment. I was pulled in like a magnet until our lips were connected.

It only lasted a few seconds before I realized what I was doing. I quickly pulled away and scooched myself back until I was no longer under him.

"I'm sorry," I said almost crying. I put a sleeved hand over my mouth as tears welled up. What the hell did I just do?! Why did I just kiss him?! Now he's going to hate me!
"I'm sorry, Mark. I don't know what came over me. I'll just go," I stood up and started to flee the room when a hand grabbed my wrist.

"Ethan, wait!" Mark said. I flinched, expecting a hard smack to follow.
He rose to his feet and pulled me in for a hug. I gasped at the unexpected affection. "It's okay. You're okay" Mark hushed. His soft voice almost immidiatly eased my nerves. But my tears still escaped and slid down my cheecks. I felt a warm hand lift my chin until we met eyes again. Mark smiled, then he leaned in and connected our lips again. It didn't take long for me to kiss back. His fingers ran through my hair as the kiss deepened. I let out a small moan and wrapped my arms around the back of his neck. I couldn't get enough of him, and I don't think he could get enough of me either. Eventually we did have to pull away though.

He smiled and looked into my eyes like he never had before. "I love you, Ethan".

My heart skipped a beat and I smiled big. "I love you too, Mark".

He glanced at the Twister game we abandoned and chuckled. "So much for making a video today".

"What do you mean?" I asked puzzle. "We could keep recording".

"Nope" Mark replied, and in one swift motion I was in his arms bridal style. "I'm spending the day doing all the things I've wanted to do with you for so long".

"Oh?" I giggled with a blush. "Like what?"

"Liiiiike CUDDLES!" He ran over to the couch and I squealed when he jumped, landing on the cushion on his bum with me still in his arms.

"Don't do that!" I laughed.

"You loooove me" he teased.

I sat up to face him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Yes I do" I giggled before pulling him in for another kiss. I guess Twister turned out to be pretty fun afterall.
